Side button on 440015 Jul 2004 08:30 GMT2
Side button on 4400 keeps getting pushed by accident while cover is
closed, putting phone into a vibrate of silent mode.  any way of
defeating this function and using only the star key for the privacy
modes?
Qustion on Prepaid Verizon Plan15 Jul 2004 05:00 GMT8
Our family of five has never owned a cell phone. Now with a daughter
away at college in western NY (we live on Long Island), we're looking
at the various plans offered by Verizon. We will probably go with two
phones (one for our daughter and one for the rest of us to share).

Are cell phones worth fixing?14 Jul 2004 04:00 GMT1
We have an Audiovox CDM 8300 which quit on us. It just searches for signal,
never finding any. I had the same thing happen on 3 Samsung SCH phones (I
forget the model number). I bought Audiovox because I was told they never
come back.
Routers14 Jul 2004 03:17 GMT3
Hey all,
Have a quick question do the routers available replace the westel modem
that is provided by verizon.  For example will I be pluging the phone line
that goes into the westel right into the router or do I connect the westel

I'm traveling into Canada in a few days..... will be north of Toronto.
Do I need to get special somethings from Verizon to make and receive calls

vx4600 - phased out completely? Need advice on a good phone.13 Jul 2004 12:40 GMT1
My v60g has finally got so broken that I no longer have an excuse for not
getting a replacement phone. After some research on this group and on
wirelessadvisor.com, I've got the idea that LG VX4600 is considered to be an
"optimal" choice of some sort: no useless bells and whistles ...

Digital vs Analog12 Jul 2004 22:34 GMT4
My question (my be a dumb one for some), but sort of has me puzzled.
We recently went on a camping trip (in Colorado by Allenspark).  It
didn't "seem" like a very remote location, as it is only about 30
miles NW of Boulder.  Well I have my new VX4400 phone up there and my
Roaming on SprintPCS ended?12 Jul 2004 22:06 GMT13
I remember that I used to be able to get on Sprint PCS 1900 MHz signal last
year. However, as I am trying today, it is no longer possible. I forced LG
4400 into PCS mode in Houston TX, and it always displayed "Searching for
Service". While watching the field test screen, I noticed a ...
Deciding between 3 phones - please comment12 Jul 2004 17:45 GMT10
We currently have a family plan that we use for both personal & business
(small family company).  We started it in Sept 2002. 2 yr plan - we share
300 peak minutes and the main line has 1000 M2M with the other 2 phones at
250 M2M, unlimited nights & weekends.
Bad advice from Verizon CSR12 Jul 2004 11:16 GMT15
After being away for a few days, I went on line tonight to check out the
recent changes I had made to my Verizon account (I just added a second
line to an AC plan).  Sadly, I found that I supposedly now had three
numbers (lines), according to Verizon.  Not so.
