How fast should messaging be?29 Aug 2004 20:25 GMT6
I notice that sometimes messages are delivered very quickly and other
times it seems to take a minute or two.  Is this caused by network
traffic or what?
TIA
Can someone answer a roaming question for me please..29 Aug 2004 18:37 GMT3
I recently switched from Nextel to Verizon last week..With Nextel
there is no roaming, so I never concerned myself with it..Yesterday
while messing with m V710 phone it shows my total minutes used and it
also said 54 seconds roaming minutes used. Since I never left the

what phone to get?29 Aug 2004 17:29 GMT3
It's time for me to get a new phone. I can't find anywhere on the net
where cellphones are reviewed (describing how pretty it is and what
the menu options are doesn't count as a review).
I care about two things:

Motorola V710 Reaction Thread29 Aug 2004 07:27 GMT28
I've seen a LOT of talk about this phone on Howard Forums, where it
has its own sub-forum...but not here.  I'd kinda like to know what
everyone thinks of the Motorola V710.
I bought one a few days ago, and so far, it's been a stellar performer
America's Choice vs. National Single Rate29 Aug 2004 07:01 GMT6
I currently have the National Single Rate plan.  I would like to switch to
America's Choice becuase the cost will be lower and I will be able to take
advantage of the Family Share plan.  When I compare the two coverage maps,
it seems that AC has less coverage than NSR.  Can someone ...
Unlimited IN calling now standard on family share29 Aug 2004 06:42 GMT8
In the new (August) rate plans, ALL phones in a family share group
have unlimited IN Calling, not just among phones in the group for the
non-primary phones. There used to be a $10/group charge to "upgrade"
the non-primary phones to full IN Calling, but that charge has been
verizon stores in manhattan29 Aug 2004 05:02 GMT6
Is there a best store to go to in terms of helpfulness and service in
upgrading phones?  I'm on Lafayette and Bond St (noho) and it appears
the Union Square store is closest to me.  Anyone have experience with
that store?  And when I settle on the phone, will I get the same price
What can we do?29 Aug 2004 02:21 GMT18
Right now my dad's Verizon Wireless 2yr contract is about to end.  He has
the America's Choice Family Share plan.  There are only 2 lines on the plan
with 400 minutes.  He wants to stay with Verizon Wireless and keep the same
phone numbers.  It is free to do so in California, I ...
A repost. I love you all!29 Aug 2004 01:22 GMT2
Lemme tell ya....I had Verizon. I had Verizon for years. I got sick of the
terrible hardware lineup and the horrible customer service over the years.
I've been through the ringer with this company, literally stealing my money.
Yea, their network worked everywhere. I pretty much had ...
Paying full retail for equipment vs. signing a contract at a higher rate28 Aug 2004 19:17 GMT33
Two years ago, I signed a one-year contract and am now going month to
month.  I want to upgrade my Motorola v120 to the Samsung sch-a670.
Of course, I'm kicking myself for not signing a two-year contract
then; if I had, I would be able to get the $100 new-for-two credit.
Data Cable Query28 Aug 2004 18:47 GMT2
Greets,
I had a question about what types of experience people have had with
data cables.
Are charging data cables certified (by UL or even produced by manuf.)?
When will Verizon roll out broadband access in Los Angeles?28 Aug 2004 18:37 GMT1
They have this in San Diego now?
i700 to notebook??28 Aug 2004 17:41 GMT1
I am thinking about getting the i700.
Is it possible to connect it to a notebook for internet connection?
I love the idea of getting email to a portable device, but would also
like to be able to send quotations, files, etc from my notebook.
