I have a Kyocera KX414 and have looked in the phone info for the PRL version, however I do not see it. Can someone tell me specifically where I can view the PRL version? Thanks.

For the last two days, I've been receiving a text message on my phone that appears to be from VZW. It's instructing me to dial *228 and select option 2 to update my phone's software. What's odd about this text message is:

I did some poking around at the VZW Web site (looking at the In-Network coverage map), and, as suggested by the new PRL changes, with a handful of exceptions, roaming on Extended Network systems is now part of In-Network coverage. No big announcement; just the updated maps.

I just got back from a trip to southwestern Oregon, and just over the California border to the redwoods, then back up the coast and home to Eugene. Verizon has included both 800Mhz (A and B) in the PRL, folks can roam free
