Question about LG VX3200 antenna30 Sep 2004 14:55 GMT3
Hi:  I'm new here, so please take pity on my ignorance.
I've had problems with reception in fringe areas with a VX3200 that
has a fixed stubby antenna.  Spouse's Samsung SCH-a650 has an
extendible antenna that when raised changes the signal from no service
How do I find the version of my PRL?30 Sep 2004 13:59 GMT2
I have a Kyocera KX414 and have looked in the phone info for the PRL
version, however I do not see it.  Can someone tell me specifically
where I can view the PRL version?
Thanks.

Odd text message29 Sep 2004 02:03 GMT6
For the last two days, I've been receiving a text message on my phone that
appears to be from VZW. It's instructing me to dial *228 and select option 2
to update my phone's software.
What's odd about this text message is:
In-Network now includes Extended Network partners!28 Sep 2004 14:44 GMT5
I did some poking around at the VZW Web site (looking at the In-Network
coverage map), and, as suggested by the new PRL changes, with a handful
of exceptions, roaming on Extended Network systems is now part of
In-Network coverage. No big announcement; just the updated maps.
VX6000 update for longer keypad light time?28 Sep 2004 14:41 GMT1
Is there one or will they make one available.  Or have they written it
off?
FYI: SW Oregon coverage28 Sep 2004 12:32 GMT5
I just got back from a trip to southwestern Oregon, and just over the
California border to the redwoods, then back up the coast and home to
Eugene.
Verizon has included both 800Mhz (A and B) in the PRL, folks can roam free
How can I find which provider a cell number is associated with?28 Sep 2004 05:15 GMT19
Again, I am turning to you all for this piece of information...
Sometime ago, I remember seeing a link to a webpage that
allowed one to plug in an area code and cell phone exchange
(ie, 814-440) and it would return who the provider was for

Number of Rings27 Sep 2004 13:48 GMT5
What is the maximum number of rings that can be set before the voicemail
system cuts in?  I was told it was 10 but my phones pick up at 5.
Lack of good tri mode phone choices?27 Sep 2004 04:26 GMT11
Looking to switch over to verizon after the antenna on my v60t (att)
has broken one too many times.  Have done a lot of research via
phonescoop and cnet.  I want a small tri-mode phone with external
screen for caller id.
Verizon/Quest merger cell list list27 Sep 2004 02:34 GMT14
Hope this is not a repetitive question for the group.
I am located in Southern Idaho and would like to find a list of Quest cell
tower sites, hoping that the Verizon merger will bring online a site I can
use.
Bluetooth Connection Problems26 Sep 2004 17:10 GMT4
I'm trying to marry an Ipaq 4350 to the V710. I've tried all the solutions on Howard's Forum, Geekzone, Brighthand, etc. and can't get the Ipaq to allow me to use the phone as a modem. Its been suggested that I may need to put in a modem init string (though most instructions ...

I notice that there are far more phones on display in the store than
on the web page.
Is there a page where all Verizon's phones are listed?
Thank you.
