VX7000 Battery charge affected by location?01 Nov 2004 00:48 GMT3
New user of an LG VX7000.  I work in a building where there is a weak/no
signal, but this isn't the issue.
It seems like I see a bigger battery drain on standby during the workday as
compared to weekends when I'm not at work.  A freshly recharged battery
Lock Box/Back up assistant31 Oct 2004 20:28 GMT1
It appears that the Get it Now applications of the Back up Assistant and the
Lock Box do the same thing.  Does anyone know the difference and has anyone
downloaded and used these applications?  Thanks

Accurate tower locator?31 Oct 2004 07:50 GMT2
While cruising the Sprint group, I found a link to
http://www.berkana.com/tower.php3 that is a tower locator. It is not very
accurate for Verizon, at least, due in part to "...towers of less than 200
ft above sea level are not found on there either as registration is not
LG VX-7000 and VX-8000 sync to Outlook 2003?31 Oct 2004 07:22 GMT2
I went to a Verizon store today and asked if the LG VX-7000 could sync its
calendar with Outlook 2003's calendar and was told it could not do so. Geez,
even my old Nokia 6360 could do that. Is it true that the VX-7000 and
possibly the VX-8000 will not sync their calendars with ...

Audiovox CDM9900 Photos30 Oct 2004 13:52 GMT1
Anyone come up with a better way of sending photos and video to the PC other
than Email. You would think that the Mobile Office Kit would have that
feature built into it. When a person is out in the field and needs to send
photos in a Word document back to the home office in a ...
Need help choosing phone for wife ...30 Oct 2004 03:23 GMT2
My wife is in first stage of Alzheimer's.  This means she can still drive to
local stores.  She is very successful at voice dialing me, using a clam
shell LG TM510.  (2001?)  It's good for emergencies, but mostly we use it at
the mall to find each other.  Her average minutes is ...

Any truth to dated PRLs?29 Oct 2004 17:57 GMT19
I live in Michigan and have 3 phones with Verizon Wireless: One Local
Digitalchoice phone, one America's Choice phone, and one prepaid
FreeUP phone.  3 different coverage maps - could it get any more
complicated?

I saw this as an option on the website today. Anybody using one or heard
anything about it.
Though I would rather have a flip phone, I like the Nokia interface and the
fact this phone has a speakerphone.

Anyway,  one of the phones will reboot...or turn off and turn on while it is
in use.  Doesnt happen all the time but has happened about 4 times now.
