We recently acquired a family pak of Audiovox 8900 phones, 4 to be precise.
Good phone so far, except for the small keypad...

I called 611 today to ask about changing my calling plan.
I'm currently on the Western States Single Rate Plan.  I get 500 anytime
minutes and 3000 night and weekend minutes for $55 a month.  Evening
rates start at 8 PM and end at 6 AM.  There are no roaming charges

I'm thinking of switching carriers and would like to know how the coverage
is in north-central Florida (triangle between Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville),

I just recently switched from the Tracfone digital to a Verizon LG
VX3200 Pay As You Go phone.  Since I don't talk on the phone much (no
more than say 15-20 minutes a month this phone is good for me.
However when I am on vacation I tend to talk a lot more.
