Bad experience with Verizon!26 Oct 2004 03:50 GMT25
Before getting Cell phone service I read a bunch of reviews of the
cell phone companies.  Verizon seemed to have less negative stuff and
even some positive stuff, so I got Verizon.
In general all the telecommunications companies stink and have

Family Share rip-off25 Oct 2004 08:14 GMT27
Just a heads up. I am in a battle with verizon right now over text
messaging. I signed up for a family share plane that includes 800
minutes and 500 text messages. I have not noticed until today, I
received a $20+ usage charge for text messages on the second phone.
Treo 600 Worthless on Verizon25 Oct 2004 05:36 GMT9
My contract is up with Verizon and I took a look at the Treo 600. Yes,
it's showing it's age and one has to wonder about the stupidity in
design of having a data phone without a replaceable battery (was it
that difficult to do?) While that's more of a limitation with
Broadband PC 522025 Oct 2004 05:24 GMT2
Other than Microsoft newsgroups I can't get any newsgroups via my PC 5220.
At home using my Verizon DSL I can get all the newsgroups.  I guess that
Verizon has blocked getting newsgroups other than a direct connection via my
home DSL line.  When I am stuck in a hotel I like to ...
idiots at Verizon, I had to leave25 Oct 2004 03:37 GMT5

But I moved to a new house and for whatever reason, could only get 1
bar max. Center of Denver that is, so had to be problem with tower

What is a good simple low-frils phone to recommend a friend who's
looking to upgrade? (he's already on VZW and he's eligible for New
Every 2 in about a month)
We tried to find the Moto V60s, but it appears VZW no longer carries

Will VZWireless offer the Treo 650?24 Oct 2004 15:49 GMT1
And if they do, with they cripple the Bluetooth functionality again?
I've been holding out getting a new phone... and switching carriers...
to get full BT functionality... Should I wait a bit longer for the
650?
