v710 Screen Problems22 Oct 2004 15:41 GMT2
Hi. Just got my 710 a few days ago, and this is one awesome phone. I'm
having a problem however.
Was using it the other night, and it told me the battery was getting low and
to charge it. Kept messing around and let it die on its own before I decided
Smartphone/PDA Plan21 Oct 2004 23:51 GMT17
I just purchased the unlimited plan for my Treo600.
Can someone tell me in non-Verizonese language what this includes?
Does it include SMS messages? Do my SMS messages take airtime?
I was under the impression this included internet, e-mail and messages.

Question about areas where 2 bands are used by Verizon...21 Oct 2004 18:49 GMT2
With Verizon buying the former Qwest network, it says the 1900 Mhz PCS
additional bands will be used to expand capacity in areas where Verizon
already has coverage....
how will this work in areas that will now have 2 bands? How would the
Single Rate - Disappearing?21 Oct 2004 18:33 GMT3
Just noticed that the VZW website no longer lists National Single Rate
plans. My local retail store said they are still able to activate new
users on SRN, but rumors are out that it will soon be completely gone.
Anyone have better sources?
Phones with Extendable antennas21 Oct 2004 04:29 GMT2
I'm in a home with limited coverage on the first floor. My old phone had
an extendable antenna and gave me double the bars my newer phone had. Of
course, I like the newer features on my current stub and have made things
work by using the second floor for calls.
SOUND QUALITY20 Oct 2004 23:51 GMT4
Currently I have verizon with a v60s phone. I'm looking for a phone/carrier
combination that has the best sound quality.  I'm in the NYC area so
coverage issues are not a problem, although I heard complaints about
t-mobile cutting calls off and some carriers going straight to ...

National Access plan20 Oct 2004 21:54 GMT16
I'm thinking about switching to a national acceses plan so that I
can take advantage of 1X while I'm on the road.  On the VZW site, it
states that I can get 400 "monthly home airtime minutes" for $55/month.
This is for voice or data minutes.  The plan also includes unlimited

for the LG VX4400 phone from Verizon? I tried to re-seat the charger a

actually seems to discharge the battery...Any help appreciated.
