I'm allreay with Verizon and don't want to change my phone number ,
Can I buy any cell phone ,or , do I have to have a phone the works
only with verizon ? (does it have to say verizon on the phone)
I'm new at this phone thing and mine is getting old.

I'm still using my StarTAC 7868w. Doesn't have the 'features' of the
new phones but I like the sound quality and that the speaker is in a
cup so I don't have to carfully aim it at my ear canal, but i

Is there a minimum delay between data calls? I have noticed that if I dial
#777 with my laptop and get online through my Verizon cell phone, it works
okay. But, after I disconnect if I try to reconnect shortly afterwards it
won't go through. I have to wait like 10 or 15 minutes ...

Anyone catch site of this new tower, on the outside ramp bend, just
before the southern most portion of Highway 13 connects to 580 in
Oakland? What's strange is this thing looks like ~15' and a few feet

My son and I both have Verizon VX3100's. For the last 2 days the red
lamp (on the hinge) has stayed lit on his phone. He has no messages of
any type, we've charged the phone, and pulled and replaced the
battery.  The Verizon tech had no idea why the light would stay on.

Saw someone use a PDA with a Windows logo to make phone
calls.  Wonder what model it is.  It's good that it combines
a PDA and a cell phone.  one less item to carry is
definitely good.  Does anyone know a model does this?

Just got the vx6100 on NE2 (previous phone was v60i)
Alot of times (not always) there's a crackling sound when on a call.
Whoever i'm talking to doesn't say anything about the sound, so I
assume it's just on my end.
