Does anyone know where you can buy the outside screen for this phone? Or do
you just have to buy a new phone?
VX-6000 Software update?...05 Dec 2004 20:47 GMT2
Is there a way to upgrade the OS? Firmware? Or a number to call?
I have a USB connector for my XV-6000 to my PC, so I can download if needed.
Thanks.
Frank
Renewed Contarct- returned phone05 Dec 2004 16:06 GMT4
I recently renewed my contract and got a new phone (New Every 2)
I have since returned the phone within the 15 day period, and
reactivated my old v60i as none of the current crop of phones appeals
to me.
Free Verizon Wireless?05 Dec 2004 14:51 GMT2
I recently switched over to Verizon wireless, exchanged a phone for
another during the trial period, then returned it and activated a phone
they no longer support (sch-a530 which I got from a friend).  Then I
ported a number over from sprint replacing the number they originally

Verizon smartphones now require data plans?05 Dec 2004 13:36 GMT3
I should have seen it coming from earlier posts on this group that said no
new smartphones (mine is a Kyocer 7135) were being given web (not WAP)
access without a concurrent data plan.  Just a couple of days ago my 1x data
access stopped working and everytime I tried to use my ...

New Rate Plan05 Dec 2004 07:50 GMT2
Just saw this VZW plan on a 3rd party web site. The site had many plans
but no SINGLE RATE PLAN, which this plan mimics. Verizon's web site does
not list this plan. If what I read is true, then National Access and any
verizon phone would  work.
PRL roaming and the indicator05 Dec 2004 02:00 GMT2
Hello,  Recently switched to a family share and added 3 lines and received
all new phones the LG VX 6000.
Got the phones in late October.  We are on the Americas Choice plan.  My dad

LG 3100 vs LG 4500 battery life?05 Dec 2004 00:31 GMT2
I have an LG VX3100 and I'm happy with it except that it seems to have
a very short battery life.  Is that typical of the 3100?  I was
looking at the XV4500 and considering upgrading to it, but won't if it
has the same short battery life.  Does anyone have any experience
Coverage on Long Island and Northern CA05 Dec 2004 00:12 GMT8
I'm currently using Sprint and am unhappy with their coverage.  I get an
excellent signal at work (Nassau) but virtually nome at home (Suffolk).
I'm considering switching to either Verizon and T-Mobile.  I also make
frequent calls and occasional trips to Northern California.  ...
Do they make large phones?04 Dec 2004 22:52 GMT3
I am about to ditch the landline, and just use my cell. I was wondering if
they make bigger cell phones - like the size of a handset of a cordless
phone? The small cell phone tends to get lost in the clutter.
VX-6000 stopped vibrating...04 Dec 2004 22:31 GMT5
My phone in the default mode used to ring and vibrate, now it just rings. I
can set it to manner mode to vibrate, but I want it to do both. Any
suggestions on resetting/fixing?
Thanks
cancellation fee04 Dec 2004 19:53 GMT2
I have two Verizon lines. I know it'll be $350 for canceling both phones.
Where I live have spotty Verizon singals. Now, CIngluar/ATT has cell towers
here for a year. I am wondering if I could use this excuse to waive or
reduce the cancellation fee. I am thinking, even at $350 ...
Could Verizon Wirless Be Any More Arrogant?04 Dec 2004 19:51 GMT107
I'm so pissed off right now I could spit!
In June of 2002, I made the HUGE mistake of signing up with VZW on a
two-year contract. I got three phones at that time.
In December of last year, I dropped two of those lines because I
