Where is analog mode still important?
(I've never paid attention, does my phone
tell me when it's in analog mode?)
I do most of my phoning from NY/NJ area.

my gf has a kyriocera (spelling?) kx414 w/ some nation plan for verizon. is
there anyway to block certain phone numbers from calling and texting her?
she has an ex boyfriend w/ a restraining order and he keeps harassing her.

Cingular-ATT has been offering to people with no credit card a new cell
phone account which promises for $49.99 per month 400 free minutes
during non-free times, and free calls after 9pm and all weekend.

The updated customer agreement shows that VZW has the right to publish my
name/phone number in a directory, unless I pay a fee?  And if they do, they

If you are on a family share plan, there is a deal going on that adds 100
minutes to your account every month at no extra cost except starting your
contract over again.  You can call *611 and do it over the phone in a few
minutes.  The deal is only going on until January 16

The post "LG VX6100 GPS Location??" has a link that tells how to open the LG
VX6100 service menu.  It could be that Verizon locked out the damaging
functions but it would be wise to be careful when in the service menu.
The "Screen" test seems to be harmless, here is how to open it ...

I am just saying Verizon blows and Cingular is much better. The GSM phone
line up itself would make anyone change. Years ago...or when Cingular was
new it sucked. They have changed a bit and are just as good! Now, if
Cingular is just as good and they use GSM phones why wouldn't ...

Understand these 6100s have aGPS capability that will provide Location to
911 centers with "Enhanced 911" technology. Anyone know how to read the GPS
location on the 6100 itself? Maybe when it is connected to a laptop? Ideas?

I used my wife's v265 today and remembered how much I liked being able to
hear my voice through the earpiece on every other phone I've had (except my
current v60s). Makes it feel and sound (to me) more like a "real" phone.

If you go to the MENU, RECENT CALLS, I don't see any way to doa delete
all calls in th ALL CALLS,, RECEIVED calls or DIALED calls. The only
way I can see is to delete them 1 at a time which is a pain in the
butt. I don't see a listing in the instricutions and have browsed

I have a Moto V60s -- Verizon supplied, now 8 months old.  The phone is
adult cared for and has not been abused in any way.
I am concerned that the phone is dying -- and I am seeking advice as to
