| International | 21 Dec 2004 22:03 GMT | 3 |
I've been using T-Mobile for several years now. I live in New York City and the service is bad at best. Limited reception in my home and office. It appears I'll do better with Verizon. However, I travel to Europe (mainly England) and my Sony Ericsson T68i transitions

| Analog in NY State | 21 Dec 2004 21:31 GMT | 11 |
Traveling north from NYC are there any analog only areas? I do notice when I go upstate and get off the Thruway that I often get "No Service" on my phone. I'm using the LG VX4500 and since it's a digital only phone, I would not benefit even if there were analog sites. I'm just ...

I saw a car charger that listed both LG units as compatible, but does this apply to data as well ? I'm used to using Bitpim for my old 4400, but now of course I need a new cable for my new 6100.

| Authentication issue, help | 21 Dec 2004 10:37 GMT | 8 |
I activated my old Audiovox 9000 last night online. It wouldn't receive calls (calls rang 5-6 times and went to voicemail), and when I tried to call out, James Earl Jones told me they couldn't verify authentication.

If I'm on a call within the VZW network and physically move into an area where only roaming coverage is available, will the call get dropped or automatically switch to roaming rates? (Personally, I'd prefer the former.) Thanks,

To all you Verizon Wireless travelers to Pike and Wayne counties in NE PA --- I just read the Shohola Township is deciding on whether to allow Verizon to put up a cell phone tower in an area near Shohola Lake, along Route 6 in Pike County. This section of Route 6 is a dead area

| Audiovox CDM 8900 Question | 20 Dec 2004 11:57 GMT | 8 |
Stupid question time... How do you turn off the sounds that it makes when the phone is being turned on or turned off? Surely I'm missing something. Thanks, Bert

| Volume Bud LG VX6100 | 20 Dec 2004 07:57 GMT | 3 |
Anyone know if there is fix for the "volume bug" yet. This is a quirk that when you answer a call, the voice of the caller is lower for about 2-3 seconds before it comes up to full volume.

| Verizon phones still suck | 20 Dec 2004 04:59 GMT | 10 |
It's been years...years since I've been a Verizon customer on and off. I've had them all...even when there was a Cellular One with a bag phone which was the smallest of them all at the time. To this day Verizon still lacks the large selection of phones other carriers provide. If you ...

How can I force my LC VX4500 to "roam" on Sprint? My Verizon coverage near my home really stinks and was just wondering if perhaps Sprint might have better coverage in my area. Bob
