Data kit for VX700012 Jan 2005 22:06 GMT6
Are the aftermarket kits as good/better than the mobile web kit software
wise? What are the thoughts on a charging/data cable?

So what's the replacement of the Audiovox 9900?12 Jan 2005 19:14 GMT2
I missed the opportunity to get one.  I have no idea why Audiovox or
Verizon would discontinue such a popular phone.  Is another better one
coming out?

Speakerphone Setting on Motorola V60s12 Jan 2005 01:05 GMT5
My wife recently got the Motorola V60s for her work phone.
Whenever she turns the phone on, the speakerphone is on. We've gone
through the settings in the phone and found we can change the
speakerphone setting from "On" to "20 second timeout" or something like
Will verizon follow and offer $10 additional lines?11 Jan 2005 19:12 GMT7
Will verizon follow the trend that ATT/Cingular and Sprint are offering
and offer  additional lines for $10 instead of $20?
What are your thoughts?
Tech at VZW store can't update LG VX6100 w/V02 SW11 Jan 2005 12:13 GMT8
I went to my local VZW store to have the SW in my LG VX6100 upgraded to
V02 (to fix the volume bug) and the tech said he was not able to get
the phone into "download mode".  He reset the phone, removed/reinserted
the battery, but had no luck.  Since the phone was under warranty, he

Samsumg SCH-a670 Ringer Volume Very Low10 Jan 2005 21:11 GMT3
I have a Samsung SCH-a670 that I just got for Christmas. When I preview
the ring tone in the setup menu, it sounds quite loud, but when someone
actually calls, it is very quiet. How do I adjust this? The volume is
all the way up at Level 5 already.
problem with ringer in LG VX 320010 Jan 2005 13:30 GMT3
I have an LG VX 3200, which worked fine until last week. All of a
sudden, the phone rings comes out of the small ear speaker in the phone
(making it impossible to hear) instead of the loud speaker on the back.
WHen I switch to speaker mode, the same thing happens. The only thing
Single band StarTac 7860-no good?10 Jan 2005 13:18 GMT9
Is there anywhere an ST 7860 can be used, or is it a paperweight? I have a
bunch of StarTacs, and one of them is not "tri-mode".
Been keeping it around for parts, I guess, but curious if there's anywhere
it can be used.
Verizon returning customer10 Jan 2005 04:30 GMT19
My 2 year commitment to Verizon Wireless is up, and I'm thinking about
straying.
VZW reception at my house has never been great (1 or 2 bars on my phone
almost all the time), but other companys' reception used to be worse.
Audio Quality: Does CDMA have a network codec compression level set and reset by the carrier?  Some thoughts...  10 Jan 2005 00:38 GMT7
I've been using cellular for a little more than five years (cannot remember
exactly).  Started on GSM (then voicestream),
then used IS-136 TDMA (then AT&T Wireless), and now on CDMA via Verizon.
Each technology seems to have good to excellent sound quality under ideal
Family share questions09 Jan 2005 22:20 GMT2
1] Do two people at same address actually have to be family in any
fashion to share an account?
2] If we like our current phones is there anyway to get anything in the
place of a new phone discount? If we don't make use of that when signing
Family Share 100 Minutes Promotion???09 Jan 2005 22:15 GMT2
I recently upgraded to the Family Share Plan and took advantage of the +100
minutes to share promotion.  I just received my first statement.
Verizon's website and my salesperson both said the 100 minutes would be added
to my primary account (400 minutes) and be available to share to ...
