Can I make phone calls with just a Verizon data plan?29 Jan 2005 00:59 GMT8
I'm considering a Verizon data plan ($80/month for unlimited MB).
Reading the brochure, it lists a 25 cents/minute rate for "Other Data
Services (e.g. Quick 2 Net, dial up connections)"
I like the Audiovox 6600 and would like to use that as a wireless modem
VX4500 - answering calls without opening the phone?28 Jan 2005 23:46 GMT10
Is it possible to answer calls without opening the phone?
In the car I use a headset and can place calls with the
phone closed, but I can't figure out if there's a way to
answer them without flipping it open.
VX7000_No animations in text mesage28 Jan 2005 20:54 GMT4
Whenever I send a text message with an animation attached with it, the
message does not go through. If I send a text message to my wife's vx6000
with an animation she doesn't get the message.
If I don't send an animation with it she gets it. Is there a reason for
My msg to you is bounced back to MY voicemail.   WTF?28 Jan 2005 20:01 GMT4
I left a message to someone 2 months ago.  I think they were a Verizon user.
2 months later, my phone beeps saying it has an incoming message, and I go
to listen to it-- It is my voice- the same message I left to them 2 months
ago.
Got screwed by Verizon's "proration"28 Jan 2005 04:47 GMT15
I signed a new contract on December 30.  Previously, I had America's
Choice 400 minutes/monthon month-to-month because my old contract
expired a while ago.  The new contract is also America's Choice, also
400 minutes/month.

Playing MP3's/Camera Problems - Motorola v71027 Jan 2005 17:53 GMT4
I recently read a review/comment from a guy on PhoneScoop where he said
that the biggest problem with the v710 is not the phone itself, but the
users who won't take the time to learn how to use it.  For the record...
I could not agree more, but must add: "whiners don't read the
Digital Only Phone?27 Jan 2005 16:49 GMT6
Thinking about replacing my 4400 with a picture phone. The choices today seem to
be either a 6100 or a 7000. Don't think the 8000 provides any major improvement
over the 7000, and in any case it isn't available just yet.
The 6100 is nice for it's analog support, but I've read a ...
V265 vs T730?27 Jan 2005 16:11 GMT5
My wife has a Verizon account in Boston. I have a second phone, with its
own phone number on her account, both phones are dual-band A670 camera
phones. Both work well enough generally but don't work at our apartment
on Lake Shore drive on the north side of Chicago.

This is too funny!27 Jan 2005 07:53 GMT44
Because I have w-a-y too much time on my hands, I have made numerous
calls/sent an email to CS re. my proration this month (as well as my
prorated retention minutes).  Each time (probably 6) I have been given
different "exact" totals for the 2nd part of my billing period which ...
downloading voice mail messages?27 Jan 2005 07:37 GMT1
I have a somewhat unusual question.  I have a bunch of messages on my
Verizon voicemail that I would like to save permanently.  I'm thinking the
best way to do this to figure out a way to transfer/download/something them
to my computer.  Does anyone know of a way to do that?  I ...
Blocked Caller ID27 Jan 2005 06:53 GMT5
Is there a way for Verizon to reject incoming calls that have their

person called won't accept calls from Blocked Caller ID's
