Lost cell phone24 Jan 2005 15:07 GMT5
So, where do you call if you've lost your cell phone?  This must only
happen to ten thousand people every day, but I couldn't find the
number on the verizon wireless site.
I finally got the number, 800/922-0204, and waited eight minutes to
Phone Prices Increase, Plans Change...?24 Jan 2005 06:09 GMT10
I see that the plans changed, but the VX7000 went up in price (less
rebate) by $30 and the Motorola V265 looks like it got more expensive.
What else changed?  What gives?  What will change by mid-March when I
switch?
v265 data cable doesn't work-help?24 Jan 2005 05:06 GMT2
We purchased a data cable with USB driver disk off eBay.
Installed the drivers as directed, and we are using OEM Motorola software.
My computer sees the phone, but won't interface with it and asks for the
driver, which I have already installed (I thought).
Verizon vs. Cingular coverage24 Jan 2005 02:37 GMT12
A friend was here yesterday with a Nokia 6010 on the Cingular network.
His phone rang and he carried on a conversation with 4 bars in the very
spot my LG3100 Verizon network phone has 1 bar on a good day......and
that's spotty. He claimed it might be because it "operates on ...
VX4500 phone?24 Jan 2005 02:01 GMT8
Ok, let's see if some one can actually respond normally to me...rather then
just trying to be funny and dig up all the hatchets.
If you have the VX4500 phone, how do you like it? I'm a huge Nokia fan, but
unfortunately Verizon doesn't carry any good ones. My father who lives 80

"Verizon Standard Time"?23 Jan 2005 23:33 GMT5
Are there phones in which the resettable timer measures in "Cellphone
Standard" Time?
In other words, if I make   *4*   15 second phone calls, the timer shows
four minutes instead of one minute.

Problem with Verizon23 Jan 2005 20:02 GMT17
In July I signed up for one year with verizon for 2000 minutes a month plus
a second phone which was around $120 per month before taxes. There were
various plans, such as 800 minutes for $59, and more.
I was told then that at anytime during my contract I can change from one
Switch Names on Account23 Jan 2005 19:39 GMT11
I have just discovered that my wife is eligible for a Verizon
discount. I would like to change the account to her name and apply for
the discount.
How difficult is this to do?
VX4600 message alert 23 Jan 2005 17:27 GMT4
On my old V60i any message in voice mail would cause the phone to vibrate or
ring until the message was answered.
With the VX4600 the phone will beep and display that a voice mail has been
left, but then the face display turns off and it won't beep again to remind
John, you ignorant slut23 Jan 2005 16:57 GMT6
John, in your numerous posts about the Verizon bluetooth lawsuit, you have
no idea what you're talking about re matters of "legal obligation" and
relevance.  Do you even know/understand the grounds for the suit and
applicable law and rules of evidence?  Clearly not. Your ...

I just picked up a USB data/charging cable for my Motorola T720C.I
cannot get the phone to be recognized.  The PC just pops up and it
says it's an unrecognized device.  I tried DataPilot 3.7 and Motorola
Tools 1.2.  I even downloaded the driver from the Motorola site. The
