RF Danger for Kids???25 Mar 2005 23:18 GMT8
Can someone with a serious level of experience in the physics of RF please
explain to me why mobile phones are a cancer danger to people?  Yeah, I have
seen the studies that claim the RF energy is absorbed by the head and may warm
the brain by .25 degrees.  No one knows what it ...

I have a LG 6100 and it shows the icon "1x" all the time.  How is this
different from digital "D"?

Just got my bill since changing to the AC II plan. From what I have read in
this newsgroup I thought that internet service via the Mobile Office Kit was
not included.  Yet in my bill in Enhanced services: it says I have National
Enhanced Service Access.  So what goes?
RF port on Samsung SCH-a650?25 Mar 2005 06:17 GMT4
My LG4400 is no longer functioning after I dropped it several times.
I'm looking to replace it. I used it with a small external antenna I
plugged in right next to the phone antenna antenna and I could plug the
external antenna in and charge the phone at the same time.
Samsung a650:  Wrist Strap Avail. Anymore, And Rubber Charger Connector Protector Questions25 Mar 2005 04:10 GMT4
Not very important, but was just wondering.
Two years ago I had a Samsung a310.
It came with a nifty little wrist strap loop that tied thru a hole in the
phone case.

Cell phone jammers now mobile24 Mar 2005 17:37 GMT6
OK, we all know about fixed location jammers, but now it looks like
there are pocket models available now.  I understand if a business,
theater, or restaurant wants to jam signals, but now the average Joe
can buy one of these and jam cellular wherever he goes.
Has the "improved" PTT been introduced?24 Mar 2005 16:01 GMT29
I was just wondering about the status of the improved PTT that Verizon was
supposed to (or has introduced already) is?  In general how is the PTT
service? I used to have Nextel...liked the PTT features but they just had
such poor coverage.  Anyone using PTT that can comment on ...
New Nokia Verizon offerings24 Mar 2005 07:48 GMT3
Any thoughts on the new Nokia folding phones (3 models) that are being
made for the US CDMA market? Not that I don't enjoy my current LG 4400.
More choice is always better for consumers.

$10 charge to transfer data to new phone23 Mar 2005 19:32 GMT53
Yesterday I migrated to a new phone. I've been with VZW for more than 4
years. They wanted to charge me $10 to transfer the stored information
from my previous phone to the new one. I refused. Seems to me a poor way
to treat long-term cutomers, a real nickel & dime approach.
