VZW 1900mhz EVDO tower upgrades in Portland Oregon28 Apr 2005 05:32 GMT8
Over the past several weeks I have been seeing crews actively working on
various Verizon Wireless towers across the Beaverton/Hillsboro area.
They have been taking down one of the three 800mhz antenna's on each
sector and replacing it with two 1900mhz antennas.  I could only ...
Before you go to work for Solectron...28 Apr 2005 01:41 GMT6
Solectron is a company that sub-contracts its technical services to,
among other companies, Verizon Wireless.
I was employed as a "Technician" by Solectron, at a Verizon Wireless
store in South-Eastern Massachusetts for sixteen months, from August '03

Data charges query - 1x/csd28 Apr 2005 00:05 GMT1
I've heard many people voice displeasure over VZW's sudden charging of
data calls per kb in addition(?) to using voice minutes. My main question
is:
Are the data calls being charges for both 1x and csd connections?
ACII vs. Sprint Free and Clear (w/no roaming)27 Apr 2005 23:15 GMT31
Has anyone done any sort of comparison between the coverage areas on
the new ACII plan and Sprint's Free and Clear plan (where you pay an
extra $5 a month for no roaming anywhere in their system)? Given the
restrictions of the ACII plan, I'm curious to see which provider
How do I say this?  VZW dropped us as an agent, they did it with a FAX and 14 hrs notice.27 Apr 2005 21:07 GMT39
Over the last few years, we have discussed the quality of veizon service;
but always discussed with some malice their business practices.
After many years as an authorized agent; without warning; a fax arrives on
Friday 3:30pm saying they are not renewing our agency AND that our ...
Matter of time...27 Apr 2005 13:30 GMT6
Look back at the history of my ranting and raging, bitching and whining
about this pathetic excuse for a company. You'll see that I've told lots of
people this company will crumble hard, and it's only a matter of time.
Network stability and coverage has nothing to do with it ...
Help - BT w/LG VX6100 and Palm PDA27 Apr 2005 07:28 GMT1
I have an LG VX-6100 (non BT phone) and a Palm PDA (Sony NX70V).
My goal is to pair them up via BT for dialup networking.    Since the 6100
does not have BT, my plan was to get something like the Jabra A210 BT
adapter.   Since my PDA doesn't have BT, but does have a CF slot, I was ...

when she occassionaly travels.  She is buying the futuredial setup and
wonders what kind of charges to anticipate from Verizon.  Anyone have any
experience with the billing here?
LG VX6100 - Strange Communication Lapse26 Apr 2005 06:40 GMT1
Last week I helped my father do the new every two thing and he picked out
the 6100.  It was free, so he figured why not?
However, there is now a strange communication problem when he receives a
call.
Volume bug fixed on Vx6100?26 Apr 2005 05:54 GMT3
I'm at my NE2 point and investigating phones. I have an LG4400 and
would like to stay in the LG line-up. Don't really need a camera, but
do want a few of the features the 6100 has over the 3200. I'm hard of
hearing, though, and wonder about the volume bug on the 6100. A friend
Verizon Vehicle26 Apr 2005 04:51 GMT5
I was at the Houston International Festival this morning and saw where
my future Verizon "rollover minutes" have been invested.

using data number for call forwarding?26 Apr 2005 00:14 GMT1
It turns out I need a local number to be used only a few times a
month, so I've been looking for a cheap way to do that.
Independently, I puchased a data-card from VZW today for their
wireless broadband service.

Has Verizon changed their policies yet and let you keep the minutes you pay
for each month?
