| Verizon Data Plans - The Worst? | 25 Apr 2005 08:55 GMT | 23 |
I've been a long time Verizon Wireless customer. I had used the 1X network for a long time and was never informed that the Treo that they upgraded me to (what a fiasco it was with the Smartphone) would cost me a data plan that would change the way I'd do business forever...

When Verizon set up my new phone they gave me choices for the phone number. By mistake they must have enterred one of the choices before entering the correct one. My phone bill showed the incorrect number with a charge of $0 and the correct number with a charge of $15 for phone ...

| Mobile Web 2.0 Questions | 24 Apr 2005 06:52 GMT | 2 |
I keep getting conflicting answers from Customer Care, and from a few reps at the stores, in regards to Mobile Web 2.0. Some say that using Mobile Web 2.0 will not take out of your airtime (of course using during peak hours, since during off-peak it'd be free anyhow),

| Treo 650 | 24 Apr 2005 06:41 GMT | 6 |
FWIW. Yesterday, in the Verizon store located in Verizon's corporate HQ building in NYC, I asked about 650 availability and pricing. I was told that this phone will be available through Verizon "by June 1, probably a lot sooner", but "we've received no word on pricing".

| Nokia 6015i vs. Moto 710 | 24 Apr 2005 05:16 GMT | 4 |
I just today switched to Verizon,,,I was a Cingular customer got tired of not being able to roam with my GSM phone. Today I got a Moto 710 because it was tri-mode and seemed to have decent battery life. Though I really hate Moto's---I despised my 551 with Cingular. Just hate the

| Help with Bitpim | 24 Apr 2005 04:09 GMT | 10 |
Any image I send to my phone through Bitpim gets its extension changed from gif to jpg. It also gets resized to a very small size, so it doesn't appear the way I want it to.

| Just wondering... | 23 Apr 2005 18:24 GMT | 2 |
I have a cell phone for sale on Ebay and was wondering if it would be OK with the group to post a link to the auction in here. If it's considered spam I would totally understand and will not post it, but if it's OK just let me know.

I keep my phone in my pocket. Several times lately I've noticed "camera" noises coming out of my pocket-- when I pulled out the phone I noticed that the camera was on and had been taking pictures. Evidently I leaned against something that activated the camera button. Is there ...

When they list a phone as being "national access" capable it refers to internet use, is that correct? Is "national access" different than the "web" feature that has been on phones for several years? Thanks!

| Using Nokia 3589i Phone as modem - Extra Charge? | 22 Apr 2005 08:11 GMT | 2 |
We're taking a long car trip down to FL and seeing as it's during the weekend when our America's Choice plan has free weekend minutes, I was thinking we could buy the DKU-5 USB adapter to use our Nokia 3589i phone as a wireless modem hooked to our laptop, so to speak, connecting ...

| SRN question | 22 Apr 2005 06:39 GMT | 16 |
Yes, I know National Single Rate is no longer available to sign up for, but I have a question about it. Is it truly "anywhere there is a usable signal", or does it have coverage holes similar to (albeit much smaller than) AC2?
