data cable15 Apr 2005 09:31 GMT3
I have an LG6000. Bought a data cable on the internet.
I loaded LG drivers. Seems to be loaded.
Is there any way around buying the software that costs more then the cable
to be able to see photos from the phone?
Problem with flip phones...15 Apr 2005 07:19 GMT9
I've noticed that every flip phone I've ever owned always got scratches on
the display monitor inside due to being closed.  The phone's buttons cause
lines across the face of the display.
Do the pleather cases stop this?

What kind of cable does one need in order to use this program?  A regular
USB cable?  Where does the cable go in the phone?
What format should pictures be in for wallpaper?14 Apr 2005 13:17 GMT4
I've uploaded some jpegs to my phone but the colors are all uneven.  I see
that the pictures included with my phone are all very clear so I'm just
wondering what format I should create pictures as in order for them to look
best.
Weird area code problem14 Apr 2005 05:59 GMT64
On the Verizon America's Choice plan (with VX4500 phone) I
have the annoying problem of needing to dial the area code
on virtually every number, even when calling "down the
block".  I've had cell phones/plans for years with different
PC 5220 data card no longer works well in SF Bay Area14 Apr 2005 00:20 GMT2
I've had a PC 5220 data card and Verizon's $80/month data plan since
last June.  For the first six or so months it was ok, but over the
past month or two it's become unusable.  It disconnects every two or
three minutes, whether I'm on a train or sitting still.  I suspect
[Help] Wireless/BT headset for VX6100?14 Apr 2005 00:00 GMT2
I am looking for recommendations for a small-ish, compact wireless
headset/earpiece to use with my vzw VX6100.  I don't believe the VX6100
has BT, but I believe there are some corded-to-BT adapters I can plug into
the phone to make it BT (Jabra)?
FCC Cell tower info question 13 Apr 2005 22:38 GMT7
On the FCC license site, a person can find data about any cell tower
antenna.
I can understrand some of it but need some help with some.
Can someone explain the following to me.
Is the LG4050/4010 travel charger compatible with the VX6000?13 Apr 2005 22:33 GMT2
Will a travel charger for an LG4050/4010 work for a VX6000?  It looks
like it will fit, but I don't know if everything is the same.  I've
found some sites that suggest they are compatible, but the LGE site
lists the travel chargers for the VX6000 and the 4050/4010 as
Verizon VX800013 Apr 2005 21:46 GMT3
I know this is really really bad to ask, but here it goes anyways. :)
I am currently using vx6000 over verizon network.
And my friend had got me a vx8000 that didn't have an ESN number.
But using the esn writer, he copied my vx6000 esn to the vx8000, a
I know this is newbie, but please lend a hand13 Apr 2005 21:45 GMT7
Is it possible to use an mp3 as a ringtone on an LG 7000?  I know how to
convert file types around and stuff but I don't know how to get it to my
phone.
Thanks!
Verizon EVDO latency13 Apr 2005 17:56 GMT8
I just purchased a Novatel V620 PC card for my laptop to use the EVDO
network. My download speeds are about 600Kbps, but ping times average around
160ms. That seems excessive and I was wondering what other folks think about
it. I am in Orange County, CA. My brother in San Diego, ...
Strange Phone Number13 Apr 2005 14:42 GMT4
I received the following message from Verizon. It seems to be legitimate
since the 866 number is actually for new customers which I am. My question
is the "from" phone number. What kind of number is it? It looks like a 900
(charge per minute) number but it has 12 digits rather ...
