| Sierra Wireless MP555-GPS, anybody heard of it? | 11 Apr 2005 03:50 GMT | 2 |
Lockline sent my wife a replacement Sierra Wireless 555 PCMCIA card (not). After 6 weeks of wondering why we didn't get our insurance replacement, we bit the bullet and canceled the line. Days later a Sierra Wireless MP555-GPS arrives, we don't even bother to open it.

I am currently on the AC1 plan with 900 min and I really do not travel around to different states and what not, so I am wondering what is the difference, advantage and disadvantage to switching to AC2? I know that on AC2 there is no roaming. I am also wondering how many people ...

| Anybody out there using non-Verizon voicemail? | 10 Apr 2005 08:31 GMT | 7 |
Has anybody tried substituting a third party voicemail for the, free but limited, Verizon voicemail. I'd love to hear whether you're happy with the results. Thanks,

| Service in Wilmington, NC? | 10 Apr 2005 04:33 GMT | 1 |
How is Verizon's coverage in Wilmington, NC? My mom is moving there in a couple months, and I want to get her a cell phone so we can keep in touch. The idea is to get a family plan so that we have unlimited calling.

| Combined WiMax - WiFi PC Card | 09 Apr 2005 04:12 GMT | 1 |
There was a post here some days ago asking about a PC card that can access both wireless broadband as well as wireless networking. And there was a response about a newsflash that there was indeed such a product that would be coming out shortly.

| RANT: Verizon Wireless Customer Service and Web Site | 09 Apr 2005 01:05 GMT | 41 |
I'm about 16 months into my 24-month contract with Verizon Wireless. I will say, their actual wireless service is terrific. I get great reception with my Nokia 3589i. The calls are clear, rarely do they drop, and I get service virtually everywhere I go, even outside of

| VX 8000 | 08 Apr 2005 18:45 GMT | 2 |
Do you know where I can find the vx8000 manual book? When my friend was traveling on the east coast, he was getting an indicator that looked like a gift box whenever he got a text message. the options were to save it or erase it, but he couldn't open it. It went away when he

| Convert to Family Share? | 08 Apr 2005 16:28 GMT | 1 |
Amazon.com appears to have the best deals on Verizon phones, after you include all their rebates. But, they don't offer family plans. Anybody know if it's possible to buy a phone from Amazon (with a dinky plan) and convert it to family share afterwards?

| Voicemail with Email Notification? | 08 Apr 2005 07:32 GMT | 10 |
I leave my cellphone turned off when I'm working at home. If somebody leaves me a voicemail, I'd love to have an email alert sent to my regular email address. I don't think Verizon voicemail does this, but some 3rd party voicemail systems do. Has anybody tried this? Has

| GoToMyPC w/ Cell??? | 08 Apr 2005 04:53 GMT | 4 |
Looking for a solution that will allow me to use GoToMyPC with a cell phone. Would like to access my desktop while in a taxi, at the airport or walking down the street. Would rather carry a smaller device like a Treo, Blackberry or Ipaq instead of a laptop with a wireless card.
