stand alone pda? If I can find a pda that is also a ...

with this phone and I really just want the PDA plan only (since I make

I recently switched from "National access single rate" to "Americas
choice-No Roam". My bucket of minutes cost gets cut in half. I have 30 days
to switch back if this doesn't work. Connection is my first priority. I
travel extensively & want a phone that works everywhere.

What I would like is suggestions for a replacement for my tri-mode Samsung
A-650.  Priorities are: 1) good reception, 2) real world standby battery
life far beyond the 60hr. ("spec." is a wildly optimistic 240 hrs.) I get
now, 3) no analog capability, 4) Speakerphone, 5) external ...

Will vzw's insurance cover ebay-bought phone?29 May 2005 04:00 GMT4
For several years I used a Nokia 5185i (aka a big fat brick thats been
used since the 90s). A few months ago, I renewed my contract and
upgraded to the Samsung a670. This thing was everything I ever wanted
in a phone and plenty that I didn't even know I wanted. And it was
Verizon Audiovox CDM8910 trimode?29 May 2005 00:47 GMT1
On the Verizon wireless site, the Audiovox CDM8910
is described as "all digital". However, reviews (such
as those on Mobiledia) say that it is trimode (with
analog capability).  On Audiovox's own site, they show

Mic Volume?28 May 2005 14:04 GMT1
I have an LG 6000 and many times people tell me to lower my voice when I’m talking on the phone. I’m most times talking very softly. Is there a way to lower my voice pickup mic volume? Thank you.
