| Promotion end/New promotion? | 26 May 2005 03:06 GMT | 8 |
I'm considering buying a $39.99 national IN plan for use in NM. 450 peak minutes, free in calling, free long distance, no roaming. The spokesperson at RadioShack told me this promotion will be ending soon: any idea when, and what features will go? Because I have family on the

| Customize Ring | 26 May 2005 02:59 GMT | 2 |
Does anyone know of a phone/service where I can avoid calls from certain numbers? I would like to set up my phonebook so that calls from certain numbers would "ring" with no volume, or even better go directly to voice mail.

| Star in the Service Menu | 25 May 2005 22:02 GMT | 2 |
I found that if you go into the service menu (go to menu, and press 0, with all 0's as the password) and then press star, it goes into a MMS code screen. I cannot figure out what the code is, but it might be usefull and I was wondering what it was for and what the

| Service code 00000 | 25 May 2005 00:52 GMT | 8 |
I have a Verizon LG VX6100. I found that if you hit menu and then 0, it asks you to enter the service code, which I figured out is 00000. It then gave me a menu of settings and hidden controls and other stuff. I don't know what most of it is. What is this for, and is there any ...

| the latest absurdity: CONVIENIENCE FEE | 24 May 2005 05:00 GMT | 149 |
This is by far the most classic (and sad at the same time) 'nickel-and-dime' fee I've ever seen. If you want to pay your bill in an actual Verizon store, they charge you a $2.00 fee. So you are basically PAYING AN EXTRA FEE TO PAY YOUR BILL in

| Motorola 7868w and bluetooth? | 24 May 2005 04:36 GMT | 3 |
I have a Mot 270c w/BT adapter, and I have a Mot 7868w but no BT adapter (looking to enable DUN). My www.google and groups.google searching for the 7868 has yielded no favorable results for 7868+BT, giving me the impression the 7868 came out before BT, or that it simply

| Call forwarding dock? | 23 May 2005 15:31 GMT | 4 |
I know Cingular has a docking station that forwards your cell phone calls to your land line when the phone is in the dock (while it's charging). Does anyone know if Verizon has this, too?
