"Al Qaeda" does not exist30 Jun 2005 19:21 GMT17
I have had more than enough of this big lie. I suppose
the sh.t hit the fan with the announced publishing of the
reputed thoughts of "Al Qaeda", a fictionalized organization
created by the CIA through their control of Western media.
GPS30 Jun 2005 17:17 GMT1
Does anyone know if it's possible to do the following on the V710.
First.. use/access the GPS data via a web app on the mobile web (if the
customer has location based services turned on).... if not what is the
point of allowing "location based services"??  where can you use it?!?!
If you want a good deal, today, June 30, last day of the QTR may be a great day to negotiate30 Jun 2005 16:28 GMT1
Verizon is pushing to regain their #1 spot.  I had a customer who had two
unused lines out of four, and called just to see about disconnecting them.
Remember, we didn't cancel, we just asked about the early termination fee.
Within 8 hrs, the customer had 3 separate calls and ...

GPS model or not (Kyocera KX-1)29 Jun 2005 13:51 GMT1
I'm looking at a comparison of cell phones on a wireless site and
notice that the Kyocera KX-1 doesn't have GPS while the others do, even
cheaper models.  What does the feature do exactly?  The Kyocera has a
Location option which can be enabled to allow the "network" to "share"

Wipe lock code from phone28 Jun 2005 23:59 GMT5
I picked up a used Verizon LG VX10 that I was going to activate on my
Verizon account but when the phone powers on, it comes up locked. The only
call possible is to 911-- and that includes sending *228 to
reprogram....gotta have that lock code to send the call.
Does your LG VX3200 automatically power off?28 Jun 2005 17:20 GMT2
About two weeks ago, my LG VX3200 started to turn itself off every now
and again.  I took it back to my local Verizon store and the tech
started to flip it open and close without me telling him how/why/under
what conditions it powered off.  This tells me I'm not the only one
Upgrade time - motorola questions28 Jun 2005 13:14 GMT23
My 'anniversary' for NE2 is mid-August, so naturally I've been thinking
about whether to get a new phone and which one.  I've used only Motorola
phones thus far, and I have accessories that I'd like to continue to use,
such as chargers and a data cable.  Those accessories were ...

Cell service in Ireland?28 Jun 2005 09:52 GMT4
I'm going on a vacation for a week to Ireland in August.  I need to use
a phone to call my office while I'm there.  A few questions: 1)anyone
know if Ireland has decent cell coverage? 2)I'm guessing that the cell
service that's there is GSM, but I really have no idea.  Anyone know?
Current wisdom on using a670 for internet access on home computer?28 Jun 2005 06:55 GMT2
I can't get dsl, isdn, and can't afford sattelite.  I do, however, have
a Verizon phone that I can hook up to my home computer and use it to
connect to the internet at what appears to be triple my dial-up speed.
Assuming I stay with nights-and-weekends to do so, will Verizon sock ...
