Hello, I'm wondering which band is used primarily in southern
california and if I can somehow find out exactly which band is used for
a specific location I'm in.  My phone is dual band so ofcourse its

Mobile Web?14 Jun 2005 04:04 GMT1
Can you add mobile web without changing plans, or extending your contract? I
have the original Americas Choice and don't want to change that. Also, can
you add it for a month or two and then stop the service if you want to? Are
there any hidden fees?
How to Remove Battery Cover from V71013 Jun 2005 21:30 GMT3
On three 710s that I have had, getting
the battery cover off was hard to do.
A VZW tech stuck his fingernail under
the cover and pried off from my latest. Anyone
Which WIFI service?13 Jun 2005 03:23 GMT32
So I'm trying to make some choices...I want to get portable WIFI in
Manhattan for my laptop. Apparently VZW doesn't offer WIFI only
access. It's either air card or nothing. The air card  costs $90 per
month plus the usual unknown taxes, surcharges, etc. Considering they

Strange Text Messages12 Jun 2005 15:20 GMT3
In the past few weeks, I've started to receive some strange text messages. By
strange, I mean they do not have a callback number or sender, making it
impossible to tell who they came from or respond.
I would think they were spam, but the messages themselves are not advertising

bluetooth headset11 Jun 2005 17:40 GMT2
I'm looking for a bluetooth headset for my Motorola 710.
I want the lightest "earset" with an ear holder that will be comfortable
with glasses.
My other concern is noise cancellation so that I can be heard on a busy

Just got a Treo 600 today.  Got it home - charged it up.  It reads fully
charged.
When I call someone (or they call me)I can hear them but they can't hear
me.  Is there a trick?  I found the mute key and made sure it is not

NationalAccess option10 Jun 2005 16:08 GMT3
Being an honest sort of guy, I pay the $79.99 a month for Unlimited
NationalAccess as a feature added to my phone's America's Choice plan.
I thought I saw on the Web that adding this feature now costs only
$59.99.  When I called a Verizon representative to ask for the new
Renew And Get New Phone (new every two) over the phone or online?10 Jun 2005 06:07 GMT1
Our Verizon representative doesn't offer the same deals they do at the
actual verizon stores. Are you able to get the "good deals" via a phone call
or by renewing online? If so, how long does it take to get the new phone?
Thanks,
