With the new AC plans, do you get any kind of data or internet
capability?  Or do you absolutely have to also get the PDA/data plan?

I just ported over a number today from a land line and while it is working
for both incomming and outgoing voice calls, I can't seem to get a single
text message to go through in any form (in or out). Has anybody else had
this sort of problem?

For anyone that has switched from the 4400 to the 6100, how do you feel they
compare? What is better about one than the other?  How does battery life
compare?

you rate this phone, what are the strengths, what are the some of the

I have owned a VX4400 phone for a year+ now
I have also been a verizon customer for 6+ years.
The only reason I bought the vx4400 was b/c of r1xtt, however, when I
bought it it turned out that my laptop was too fried to support it, so

Our two-year contract time will be coming up soon, so it's time
to consider upgrading from current VX4400 phones.  Overall,

I use sprint for an occasional data connection and with Verizon it
should be a similar approach. Friend has Verizon and is getting nowhere
trying to set us a data connection.  Looked in this NG and didn't' see
anything to help him out.
