I just upgraded my plan to family share, got my wife off Sprint and we
share the 500 minutes but was shocked to see that the foot note at the
bottom of the plan descrition after signing up is the "promotion" of
free nights and weekends and in calling only lasts as long as the
VX-8000 data cable guess what VZW techi said31 Jul 2005 08:01 GMT4
At the VZW store this afternoon asking questions about the 8000. I said
that it was common knowledge that the VX-7000 cable will work just fine
on the 8000. The techi said that if I did that the phone would be
basically destroyed because of "frequency shifts" . He continued to ...

Long Distance Access Code29 Jul 2005 17:33 GMT6
When I use my cordless phone and want to call long distance a recording
suggests i use a long distance access code. I know the code and wonder
what it means. The code here is 10-10-220. Does that mean the long
distance is free. If I use this code with my cell phone is it free or
AGPS and V71029 Jul 2005 13:04 GMT3
Okay, okay, I re-upped despite my complaints. I couldn't find anything
*significantly* better than Verizon, plus they made me a great deal on
everything (my balance went from $2 two days previously to negative $69.xx
after contract kicked in, and we still have $100 in rebates ...
SMS acknowledgement to Sprint29 Jul 2005 06:42 GMT1
Normally, when I send SMS messages, I can tell when a message has been
delivered to the handset of the recipient via the status indication in my
V710's Outbox.  This has worked even cross-carrier to Cingular and Sprint
users.  However, for one friend of mine on Sprint, I never get ...

Free Roaming and Long Distance29 Jul 2005 04:02 GMT2
My brother-in-law is visiting Southern California. We live in Northern

plan? I know that there are some areas that are not covered ...
Re: Yes, you can have MOU, if you've have it now, should be able to keep it. RE: Treo data plan29 Jul 2005 01:06 GMT4
Julie the answer is yes, but depends.
Yes, I have a treo, and I access my email/browse the internet and pay for
minutes of use.  It is actually called minutes of use (Feature MOU) as I
recall.  I've had it for years.  BUT: They try and put me on data plans, and

Does anyone know the status of Verizon coverage and costs in the islands? I
have the VX6000 phone. I called Verizon and was told that Bermuda coverage
is limited to Hamilton. Rates are $1.49 per minute, but only $.35 per minute
if you have the international plan, which is only a few ...
