I have a LG VX4400. I live in a 'marginal' coverage area. The 4400 works well enough (for 1x National access coverage). I purchased a PC 5220, and it's very much pathetic in this marginal area. I've tried amplifiers, I've tried omni directional antenna, I've tried 9db yagi

I had my phone set to Roam Option Automatic-B, but was told it should be on Automatic-A in CT, where I am. Everything seemed to work ok before. Now that I switched it to Auto-A, it still seems to work ok. Since both work ok, just whats the difference between these two settings.?

According to the latest billing notice, For those with Worldphones, Verizon is raising GSM roaming rates to 2.49/4.49 a minute, depending on the country. Text messages are also being raised.

I have a LG VX4400 on AC-1 and today I noticed that the external and internal display was not showing the flashing triangle when on the Extended Network. The internal display said Extended Network but the flashing triangle was gone.

Earlier today after turning on my Verizon phone (Nokia 5185i), I got the "Invalid Roaming List" message, then the phone could not connect to the network (continued to display "Searching for service"). I last sent *228 a couple of weeks ago to upgrade roaming as Verizon
