Voicemail Message Rec'd 1 Wk Later14 Jul 2005 07:55 GMT12
Has this ever happened to anyone before?  I received a voicemail message
exactly 1 week after it was initially left on my phone.  My phone was on,
the entire period, and subsequent messages were rec'd BEFORE this one.
Text messages running slow?14 Jul 2005 07:14 GMT14
I have a special account set up on a domain hosting account where my
text messages are sent.  This account forwards them along to my cell
(so I don't have to give out my cell # or VZW alias), and CC's a copy
to my main e-mail account.  I got the CC'ed ones almost 90 minutes
Horrible echo on new verizon phone14 Jul 2005 06:59 GMT7
I just set up new service and got a new Samsung phone from Verizon,
after a long time using Cingular.  All I've read and heard says that
Verizon is the best service, coverage, etc., nationally, which is why I
switched.
External Antenna:  Thoughts On Please   (for possible help with reception in Sharon, Mass.)13 Jul 2005 23:34 GMT1

in my home town of Sharon, Mass.  Lots of drops during the conversation.
Thinking of trying one of those small external antennas that one hooks into
the cel-phone via a thin ten foot length of coax to hopefully improve ...
Free Call Forwarding!?13 Jul 2005 17:51 GMT3
I have the same plan in two different states.  One bills every forwarded
call, the other does not bill to a local landline so I keep it forwarded to
my home phone when I'm in.  Why the difference?  Could it be that the local
landline company handles the forwarding for Verizon and ...

Verizon Wiress upgraded their billing systems in some areas. Yes you can now

your minutes you can go to a higher plan. You must make the calling plan
change before the start of your next billing cycle.
Mobile Web - Always a flat fee via verizon?13 Jul 2005 12:13 GMT3
Is using mobile web via verizon always just a flat fee? Is it just airtime
minutes used, or do you have to have a data plan? What happens if you try to
access a page that isn't formatted for using with a cell phone?
Thanks,
Dr. News's advice doesn't work for me !  (Re: Treo's Data Plan)13 Jul 2005 06:44 GMT1
I just spent a couple of hours on the phone with 3 people
at Verizon and they couldn't do this for me.
One of the reps didn't even think it's possible for anybody
to get a Verizon's Treo 650 with data usage without getting

E815, etc, with PTT?13 Jul 2005 04:18 GMT1
I've searched back thru the threads and haven't found if this has been
discussed yet other than how VZ's PTT is slower than Nextel's DC.
Curious, will Motorola ever come out with a phone such as the E815 with PTT?
Nextel, even though their service sux, has some nice phones with ...

LG VX 10 deleting address book12 Jul 2005 05:52 GMT2
I purchased a used LG VX 10 that came without an owner's manual.  I

However, the phone came with quite a few numbers in the address book.
I'd like to delete these.  The manual says to highlight the entry and
