I bought a USB data cable off ebay to connect with my Samsung a670. The auction page listed it as a compatible model, but the software they sent doesn't have it in the list of compatible models. But the driver for the cable itself is working fine, and has set up a fake com port

I spilled a drink on my LG VX6100 camera phone and Verizon tells me it has to be replaced. At full price - $250! I see some used ones on eBay for around $160. Can I buy one of these and take it to Verizon and get it activated to my account? Will that work?

Does anyone make a house mounted antenna for cell phones? My Audiovox phone gets three bars out on my front lawn but usually none or one fleeting bar inside the house. Is there a way to hook this phones antenna to an external antenna for inside use that's actually useable?

Any news as to what new phones may be available on Verizon and when? I gather that the Samsung a790 is one of them but it does not appear o the Verizon site yet so am I to take that the phone is not ye available?

If a person on Verizon blocks their # and calls someone on Cingular who has the caller's # in their phonebook, will the actual # show up or will it show whatever Cingular's version of "restricted" is?

calls made using verizon cell phones displays the calling number, but not the name (except if you call another cell phone and that number is in the directory). sprint, cingular etc etc do display caller names. any reason why?
