Any Unpublicized Verizon Pay As You Go Plans or No Credit Check?25 Nov 2005 16:04 GMT13
My cell phone needs - Basic. Use about 3 hours/month, no data/internet
needed, ability to use phone in outlying remote areas (the "boondocks")
is VERY important. From what I've seen, these means getting a phone and
service that can also use the AMPS network.
E815 Movie format25 Nov 2005 16:00 GMT1
Was wondering what mpeg format works on the E815 I would like to have a
promo clip play on my phone. I use Pinnacle Studio 9 and should be able
to convert my AVI to the correct format. So far I've tried mpeg 3 .MOV
and the AVI fformate uses a lot of memory.

Question regarding the Moto E81524 Nov 2005 15:45 GMT9
Just purchased the MOTO E815 and want to use it with my computer would I
be better off getting the Mobile Office Kit, or would it work with just
a blue tooth usb thingy? (whatever you call it) Or would it require
both?  I am new to this so just need some clarification.  I ...
Can't get my e815 connected24 Nov 2005 13:48 GMT10
I'm trying to connect the e815 to my computer (XP Pro SP2).  I have a
Motorola oem USB cable, and a belkin Bluetooth dongle.  I've read the
directions on Howards forum, and cannot figure them out.  The instructions
there mix the Bluetooth, USB cable, Motorola Phone Tools, and ...
real caller ID ?24 Nov 2005 03:24 GMT20
Question about how caller ID works: On a home phone, you can
apparently get "real" caller ID where it identifies the caller's name
based on phone book entry. But, on a cell you only seem to get the
caller identified if they are in your phone book - otherwise you just

Hmm I see verizon might have to buy back all the 710 units. They as per the
suit forgot to tell people that some parts of the bluetooth were disabled.
Hahahaha. They never told me that anything was disabled with my 815 or

Changing Plans??24 Nov 2005 03:05 GMT4
I've had Verizon's SingleRate plan for 5 plus years. I am not traveling
as much as I did before and was thinking of switching to America's
Choice to get the night minutes and IN calling program. (I have 2000
weekend per mo. promotion minutes on the SR plan)
AC1 billing of night and weekend "IN" minutes...24 Nov 2005 02:42 GMT5
I have an AC1 plan that includes 250 "IN" minutes for each of the two
lines. These minutes are not shared. I also have 3000 shared night and
weekend minutes. Are "IN" calls made during night and weekend hours to
be treated as night and weekend calls or "IN" calls. If they are

Is there anyway to download a Verizon voice mail as a "file" to a
server ? I have a couple of voicemails I'd really like to preserve.

LG VX5200: How to get the speakerphone?23 Nov 2005 17:10 GMT1
How does one turn on the LG VX5200's speakerphone? I've scanned
the User's Manual several times but I can't anything at all on this
capability.  I've pressed the CLR/SPEAKERPHONE key while a call is
in progress, but nothing changes.  Is my phone defective?
