Verizon Wireless turns on native service in Breezewood, PA (Bedford County)14 Nov 2005 00:56 GMT3
As I suspected about a month ago, Verizon Wireless is using their
Northcoast PCS licenses in Bedford County.
When I was last in Breezewood 2 weeks ago (late October), the area was
still served by Extended Network partner US Cellular (SID 1794)
e815 - turning On/Off bluetooth & headset13 Nov 2005 06:33 GMT6
I don't have a BT headset yet so I haven't puzzled it out, but I have a
friend who is struggling a bit.  She wants to know if there's a quick way to
turn it on and off.  Right now she has to drill down through multiple menus.
She is also sometimes in the situation where the BT ...

PRL 50408 vs. 5037113 Nov 2005 02:59 GMT28
PRL 50408 (AC II) has been released and here are the changes compared to
PRL 50371.
Some changes in priority and changes from A to D/A may not be noted
along with any other changes that I may have missed.
Going back to Motorola12 Nov 2005 02:48 GMT35
I've started with Verizon Wireless a few years ago with the Motorola
StarTac.
Well, that phone was practically useless for the battery life.
I recall a particular day in where I drove to the city.
Deleting pics on 81512 Nov 2005 02:32 GMT18
I think I did this before but can't seem to replicate it. The manual
doesn't help much. This is after I've taken and stored it. I know it can
be trashed before being stored but I'd like to clean off the phone of
some pics that I'll never use.

Data cable kit for a VX6100?10 Nov 2005 16:54 GMT2
I want to synch up or at least copy contact info from my Outlook to my
VX6100.  I have seen several data kits on eBay and was wondering what
people have used and what to look for.  I do want true USB.  Also, will
this work with my wife's VX5200?
New Mot v260 in Boston area?10 Nov 2005 14:01 GMT5
I'd love to replace my LG VX6100 with a Motorola v260, but don't want
to renew my contract yet and don't want to pay a ridiculous retail
amount.

User Interface Standardized?09 Nov 2005 20:05 GMT5
I was in a VZW store yesterday playing around with some of the
different brands/models of phones. It seems that Verizon has
standardized the user interface software (OS) for all phones. I can
see the benefit of this from the POV of Verizon in terms of being able
Motorola A84009 Nov 2005 11:24 GMT5
The Motorola A840 looks good according to PhoneScoop.
I have not seen the A840 in any Verizon Wireless store, not even the one at
Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan.
What's up with that?
Minute Count09 Nov 2005 01:18 GMT1
Is the account login the only minute count?  The account minute count is
several days delayed-is that all there is?

InPulse phones (prepaid VZW), will they work/activate on postpay?08 Nov 2005 23:38 GMT2
Found a nicely priced 6015i to replace my failing phone, before opening,
will VZW activate this InPulse phone on my postpay or no?
I'm sure there is bound to be someone that has done exactly this..
