Pick for New Verizon Phone31 Dec 2005 16:50 GMT7
2 year contract is up and time for a new phone.  Problem is the $100 "new
every two" discount provides a batch of about 15 different phones I could
get for free with a new 2-year contract - everything from an LG VX3300 to
the Motorola E815.  I've read bunches of reviews but am ...
Verzion LG 8100 and Bitpim. Blocked?31 Dec 2005 03:36 GMT5
Well, I have the cable, the software and when I bring in a wallpaper or
ringtone I can't find them on the phone. Is this a verzion software thing
that needs to be cracked?? I'm still in my 15 Day trial and will drop them
if I can't use my own ringtones and wallpapers

Need suggestions on same.  Would like to keep price below US$80.
These are just two requirements.
Above mentioned price.
motorola E815 vs LG VX810030 Dec 2005 11:54 GMT13
I've come down between the motorola e816 & LG vx8100...
can't decide which one to go with.  they're both look like good cell phones.
is there anything feature wise (what it has and what it doesn't have)
that sets it apart from each other
Motorola V276 pictures....dark?29 Dec 2005 15:58 GMT3
I've had a V276 for a few weeks now. The camera is reasonable, but the
images are usually kind of dark. The exposure appears to be adjusted
using left and right clicks on the 5-way navigation key. Repeated left
clicking makes the onscreen image darker, repeated right clicking makes
rozorv3c as modem29 Dec 2005 02:44 GMT1
I recently upgraded to the vzw razor v3c and I am trying to use it as a
bluetooth modem and dail to the internet.  I used to be able to do this
with a t730 and dc600 adapter using the qnc network.  I got the pc
paired to the phone and dail #777 using 10 digit phone_number@vzw3g.com
Mapquest on phone?29 Dec 2005 02:07 GMT1
I discovered recently that it's possible to send Mapquest driving directions
to the phone (e815).  Of course, it's a subscription service and I wondered
if others have tried it and consider it worth the cost?  Are the directions
and maps easy enough to read to be useable in the ...
New LG VX5200 phone gets no signal indoors...29 Dec 2005 01:14 GMT8
My new LG VX5200 phone barely gets a signal in my apartment.
Practically every phone call gets dropped at least once, and/or
the signal fades in and out, so one can't understand what the other
person is saying.  I live on a 3rd floor of a modern-construction
phone recommendation?29 Dec 2005 00:15 GMT7
Thinking of switching to VW and am looking for recommendations on a new
VW phone. I want tri-mode, NO camera (work restriction), speakerphone,
reliability and good signal strength/reception. I don't care about
internet, data or bluetooth. Suggestions?

How can you see which audio files (MP3 in particular) are on the
storage card? When I go to the "Media" app, I only see pcitures
although the "CardInfo" app does say that I have photo and audio items.
The only way I can get to my MP3 is through RealPlayer or Ringo. In

How do I get the light to stay lit on an open Nokia 6256i?27 Dec 2005 06:43 GMT3
I got it for $59.99999999 plus a FREE Motorola 276 from Radio Shack.
So far so good (I don't know how to use the bells and whistles) but how
do I get the light on the inside screen and keypad to stay lit?
Non camera/non Bluetooth phone recommendation26 Dec 2005 09:08 GMT2
I'm almost up on my current VZW contract. I'll be eligible for a New
Every Two phone.
I have a nice Motorola V60s phone. Its a good phone and will keep it
for a backup, but I'm in the market for a new phone.
Verizon phone recommendaton25 Dec 2005 21:09 GMT3
I am probably replacing by new V265 next week. Can someone recommend a
phone? I'm on the Verizon network. I'd like it to have Bluetoothe, a
speaker phone be able to download mp3s for ringtones, both from the net
and from my home computer. A camera would be nice, but not necessary.
