Nokia 6236I19 Dec 2005 02:36 GMT1
Any info out there on this phone?  I see that it has USB capability.
Has VZW disabled this so that you can't d/l a photo from the phone to
your computer?  Or to u/l ringtones from computer to phone?
I've looked at the phonescoop site.  Any other info would be appreciated.

Was looking at this phone and can't seem to find out much info on the data
plan(s).
How does the data work if you don't sign up for an unlimited data plan?
Does it eat minutes?  Seems that if it is always on, meaning you can push

GPS on my phone?17 Dec 2005 17:05 GMT13
I just read an article about Verizon offering GPS service on cell phones for
$10 a month.  I wonder if any of the currently available phones, such as the
e815 would be capable of acting as GPS receivers?  Has anyone heard much
about this?
getting new plan via amazon and canceling exising plan?17 Dec 2005 16:02 GMT2
My contract with VZW ended quite sometime ago. I was thinking of
signing up for a new VZW plan (1 yr) via Amazon so that I get a good
deal on a phone, cancelling my existing contract, and hopefully switch
my existing # to the new plan. I wasn't 100% certain that I could pull

EVDO would be in the area along I-81 'by the end of the year'.   Again,
earlier this year, I was told that EVDO would be in the area 'by the
end of the year'.

Treo650 Email14 Dec 2005 16:27 GMT1
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Treo 650 in
regards to email. I was wondering exactly how the email works, and how
much it costs. Is it a "forwarding" service? Can you use your own email
address, or must you use one assigned by verizon. What I mean, is can
Nokia 6256i and Bluetooth question14 Dec 2005 10:14 GMT1
Ok...I finally got my Nokia 6256i and love it! I really thought a phone
couldn't have the same reception as my 3985 Nokia...but this one does! It's
awesome and I'm glad I waited forever. I also bought a cheap bluetooth
headset right now and currently waiting for another one to be ...
