GPS for VX4400 like VX6000?28 Jan 2006 04:55 GMT12
I've read posts that claim you can get Lat/Lon read back with a VX6000
as follows:
"...the commands:
Meno > 0 >000000 > 2 > 6 > 2 change to 922 > ok
Question about *228 option27 Jan 2006 16:23 GMT17
Since moving from Brooklyn to Manhattan (a total of ~3 miles in my
case) I noticed that my cellular reception was surprisingly worse on my
LG VX6100 phone.  In my new location, I'd have to place myself near the
windows of my apartment to obtain reliable service.  If I was in the
Price on Razr27 Jan 2006 13:08 GMT2
Anyone have any idea when the price on the Razr's will go down?  I ask
because I bought a T730 2 years ago in January and then in February they
went down dramatically.  Thanks.
Verizon won't let me replace analog phone 27 Jan 2006 06:46 GMT37
We have a old analog plan with low monthly fees, 2 phones and no free
minutes. The only charge for the 2nd phone is the minutes used on it..
I wanted to replace one of the phones with a used newer model. Verizon says
they can't activate a analog phone that doesn't have some kind of ...
e815 as modem: connection speed?27 Jan 2006 01:28 GMT10
I got the e815 working as a modem via Bluetooth.  But what is the correct
connection speed to set the connection profile on my computer to? 115K?
230K? more?
Transfer number to a different phone?26 Jan 2006 19:47 GMT4
I just bought an E815, and had them assign my cell number to it.
My old phone (VX4400) is better than my wife's phone (VX3100). Can I assign
my wife's number to the VX4400, or do I have to have that done by Verizon?
If *I* can do it... how?
LG 8100 & minisd card26 Jan 2006 11:11 GMT1
Does anyone know if there is a limit to the maximum size card you can use
that will be recognized by this phone?  also, if I get this phone and a
card, can I just copy my mp3 files over to the card and use them as
ringtones and listen to them like with an mp3 player?  thanks.
Did A New Firmware Update Ever Came Out for LG VX5200?26 Jan 2006 02:25 GMT6
Did A New Firmware Update ever came out in LG VX5200, that's the phone I
got, and how do we know if a new firmware update came out or not for the
phone?
EVDO PCCards - which is better?25 Jan 2006 21:13 GMT18
I just bought a PC5740 card from Verizon. Sure, it's got a $50.00 rebate,
etc, but it doesn't work that great at home because connectivity is somewhat
limited due to the lack of towers in my area (due to my fabulous f'ing
township and their legacy-thinking crap). However, both my ...
Did Verizon Disable Voice Dialing?25 Jan 2006 15:53 GMT8
It seems like Verizon disabled voice dialing on the 6700. Is that true?
Why in the world would they do something so stupid? So, to make  a
call, you have to open up the pda's case, and use the onscreen dialing?
That is utterly stupid.
LG VX5200 USB Cable Source25 Jan 2006 14:25 GMT6
Can anyone recommend a good dealer or ebay seller for the LG VX5200
USB cable? Verizon apparently no longer sells it, and I found out the
hard way with my old Nokia that not all non-OEM cables are created
equal...
the troll24 Jan 2006 15:43 GMT9
Sigh.
I know, DO NOT FEED THE TROLL. With any luck, Google has already bounced
his current account and he won't see this.
But I just want to point out that in his spelling rant, he has four
Americas Choice Value Plan24 Jan 2006 03:20 GMT3
I just added Verizons Value Plan for $3.99 to my Americas Choice Family
plan so I can make cheaper calls to and from Mexico. I am going to Cancun.
Has anyone had any experience with it regarding coverage  and any additional
charges I might incur. Thanks

Motorola E815 - New Replacement Out Soon?23 Jan 2006 19:28 GMT8

I was thinking of getting an E815 but wanted to see if I should wait
for a newer model out soon.
