Keep it simple <KISS>18 Jan 2006 05:15 GMT9
Current phone is a Samsung a650.

reception, a headphone feature, and NationalAccess. Cameras, music, and
the like are of no use. I travel a lot but only in the USA.
Verizon involved in the selling of cell phone info?18 Jan 2006 04:54 GMT23
With all the news of cell phones companies giving out personal cell
phone info to other companies (such as locatecell.com for $110), I was
wondering if Verizon had made any public statement on whether they do
this. I didn't see anything that addressed this specific problem on

Does the V3c support object transfer using
USB cable without hacking into the phone?
I know Bluetooth is crippled, and only works for
BT headset and maybe address book sync.

For the life of me I can't get my e815 to recognize the contact names
correctly.
Call parents becomes a choice between Amy, Andrew and Lexxy. UGH!
I thought I might have a pronounciation issue or something, but my
changing phones17 Jan 2006 05:17 GMT2
Is it possible to switch number and service from one phone to another
without incurring the $25 Verizon now charges?
Son just broke his phone, and we want to activate one of our last year's
phones for him to use until our contract is up at end of year.
E815 Battery17 Jan 2006 02:08 GMT5
My E815 is a couple weeks old.  I really like the phone.  The battery
typically lasts a long time but the other night was strange.  I charged it
overnight, then talked on it maybe 30 minutes the next day and left it on
all day like I always do.  The next morning the battery was ...
did VZW make the deadline?16 Jan 2006 15:21 GMT7
It was widely reported here that VZW was under an FCC mandate to have 95%
of its subscribers' handsets E911 capable by the end of 2005. I'm just
wondering if anyone knows if they made it, or how close they came.
E815 and Bluetooth Headsets. My experiences.16 Jan 2006 14:51 GMT24
My wife says I'm on a quest for the perfect BT headset and in many
respects I agree with her.
This has become somewhat of an obsession with me.
I guess I'm a gearslut at heart.

prepaid verizon for regular use16 Jan 2006 10:50 GMT5
My sister has asked me if she can purchase a pre-paid verizon phone
and take it to get activated to use for regular verizon use.
She has a phone that had the antenna eaten up thus needing to get
another phone.  It seems that a pre-paid phone that verizon sells that

Voice Dialing alternatives to the VX6100?15 Jan 2006 20:37 GMT12
I just picked up a VX6100 and I must say, I love everything about this
phone.  Stylish, well built, easy to read display intuitive controls and
menus. The tip calculator is really cool. The voice dialing is one of
the nicer features of this phone but is also the most ...
Anything for loyal customers?15 Jan 2006 20:03 GMT3
I know many of us recently got an offer for "free" in calling if we extended
our contract. That of course actually takes away a up to a year or more from
our new every two credit, so it really isn't free. Wouldn't it be nice if
the offer was made and didn't affect the new every ...
