V710 suite results?24 Feb 2006 20:39 GMT5
It has been some time since I received and mailed in the paperwork for
the V710 suite.
However, I have yet to hear anything else about it either from the
lawyers, or from Verizon or from Motorola.
Frequent Connection "Dormant"24 Feb 2006 16:07 GMT2
I have a Kyrocera KPC650 with Verizon service.  I keep getting a
"Connected - Dormant" message on the VZAccess Manager.  When I get
this, it's as if I have lost service even though it continues to show
two to three bars.  When it does go "dormant" it seems as if there is
EVDO aircard in Europe?24 Feb 2006 14:18 GMT8
I just bought a Kyrocera KPC650 aircard with Verizon service for my
laptop.  I am liking it so well that I am going to drop my DSL service.
Unfortunately, I am reading that this won't work in Europe!  I will be
traveling a lot to Europe for business, mostly Italy and the UK.  Is
Making your own ringtones24 Feb 2006 12:52 GMT7
I know this is possible to make a ringtone-but has anyone done it with
Verizon. I have a Samsung A950. I think it has to be in .mid form, but maybe
in mp3 form. I made a mp3 one, but it doesn't go into my ringtone menu, but
instead to the my songs menu.
Thinking of a razr24 Feb 2006 05:50 GMT9
I am not a huge cell gagdet hound. I mostly just need to make calls,
check the time, etc. I am not a fan of belt clips, so I like it be
relatively small so I can pocket it. I prefer a moto flip style phone
with verizon service. My moto v60 was officially pronounced dead today
Verizon coverage in Tempe24 Feb 2006 04:00 GMT5
I'm looking to move to Tempe in about a week. Phone will be use there and
Scottsdale primarily. Any problems with dropped calls or coverage?
How is Alltel in this regard? Some reviews I read complained of call drops
with them in the Phoenix area.
Blackberry 7130e24 Feb 2006 04:00 GMT3
Anyone have any negative experiences with the new 7130e?
How is the new condensed keyboard for long time Blackberry users?
Anyone think this is the best Blackberry yet?
Razr (V3c) and USB charging24 Feb 2006 03:12 GMT3
Got a razr today. The manual says you can plug it into your computer's
USB port to charge and I happened to have the right cable. However,
when I did so, the exterior screen showed 'unauthorized charging'.
Huh? Now I run freebsd, and I wonder if the fact that its a non-windows
Bogus "Early Termination" Fees?24 Feb 2006 03:03 GMT21
When I dropped Verizon for Cingular, Verizon hit me with a $175 Early
Termination Fee.  I haven't gotten a new phone from them in over two
years.   Verizon claims a rate plan change last year clicked a new
1-year contract, but rate plan changes have never done that in the past.
motorola v710 - how do you xfer files from/to pc with media card?23 Feb 2006 21:25 GMT4
i hear the v710 phones are disabled from transferring files via phone
tools and the data cable, and the only way you can xfer them is via a
trans-flash card.
if you have the card, how do you move your videos/pictures, etc, onto
Total equipment coverage23 Feb 2006 18:50 GMT2
I know there is a $50 deductible on the phone, but what about
accessories?....(like a Bluetooth headset) is there a deductible for those
too? Do I just take it back to the store?
Thanks
questions for violet23 Feb 2006 13:52 GMT4
You seem to be a vzw employee, so let me ask you:
I just took my NE2 and renewed my contract for another 2 years in November.
I have AC-I 400, but I rarely use more than 100 minutes. Now I am thinking
of switching to a Family Share plan.
Voice Mail System Does Not Hear DTMF Tones23 Feb 2006 12:20 GMT2
I am a Verizon user out of Chicago and have the below problem with
multiple phones (Mot v60s, Mot 815).
When checking voicemail (using *86) in Chicago I can start entering
plus my 4-digit password plus "#" as soon as I hear the greeting.  The
Samsung SCH-i730 vs XV670022 Feb 2006 23:07 GMT1
Was wondering if anybody has any comments one way or the other on these 2
devices.  Who makes the XV6700?  I have a E815 and was looking at changing
(not sure if it would be an upgrade) to one of the PDA/Phones.  Thanks for
the input/comments.
motorola v710 - how do you use mp3 for a ring tone?22 Feb 2006 22:54 GMT1
I have a t-flash chard for my v710, and was able to play back some mp3
files I transferred over. Can someone explain how do you use them for
ringtones? What folder do you put them in on the transflash card, what
format do they have to be in (I heard 64 kbps mono), and how do you
