Is there some way to download or receive voicemail messages in email
for Verizon's cellular service? Having to do everything through the
voice menu is a drag!

Re:  Home screen on Moto E81524 Apr 2006 05:13 GMT11
This is interesting (I think).  I got a replacement E815 a few days ago
because mine broke bad.  The soft keys of my original were "SETTINGS" on the
left, and "CONTACTS" on the right--with the words above the keys written as
such.  On my replacement, the soft keys read "SETTINGS" ...
Accessing Internet via Blackberry 7250 and Verizon Data Plan24 Apr 2006 04:08 GMT11
I've seen a few items about using one's blackberry as a modem to dial
out from a laptop, but I don't believe I've seen one where the user
attempts to access the internet using the phone's dataplan on the
Verizon network.  I'm not an expert on the technologies involved, so
Ring tones23 Apr 2006 21:19 GMT3
Do any of the Verizon phones offer a courtesy ring mode? (not vibrate).  I
used to have it on my old t-mobile phone where the ring you choose starts
out very soft for the first two rings & gets progressively louder.

VZ Nav and selected phones?22 Apr 2006 08:41 GMT2
Is there a reason Verizon only has VZ Nav available for the V325 and V?
Are there technical reasons for it, or simply marketing?
Any technical reason VZ Nav couldn't potentially be used on any other

Sprint Announces 2 Extra Hours of Calling at Night: Will Verizon?21 Apr 2006 20:52 GMT23
On the back page of Sunday's (April 14, 2006 issue) USA Weekend
magazine included in my local (upstate NY) paper, Sprint has a full
page announcement stating that "Now nights start at 7PM".
Wonder if Verizon will "lower" their high standards to meet

New Phone w/ Analog Plan21 Apr 2006 19:34 GMT20
Hi, I have an old plan with Verizon ($10/month).  I need to buy a new
phone, mine (an old analog phone) is wearing out.  I just was on the
phone with Verizon Customer Service, and he said that my plan is
specifically analog only.  He thought if I bought a new phone it would
