So far the recommendations here have been great! But I am wondering, is there yet a phone that can do higher than 1.5 Megapixels? The Motorola one you all recommended seems to be the best so far that I can find - or am I just looking in the wrong places??

My Dad just upgraded an old bag phone to the LG4650. Its a relatively new model .. flip phone with a thumbnail size speaker at the top. It came with PRL 50014 installed.

Anyone scene or heard anything on this, it was on there web site on the holiday weekend, figuring someone goofed or VZW got wind of delivery problems , maybe trying to compete with Cingular and the release of the V3I.

I am going to replace my VX4400 soon. I am wanting to get a phone that is tri-mode because I often find myself without a digital signal for making calls. The phone does not need to be loaded with fancy features, just need to make calls and connect to my laptop

Does the PRL you get when you update via *228 depend on your service plan, or does everybody get the same one? I'm a real low-useage customer and hang on to an old and cheap "local" plan, and wonder how my phone knows when to show the roaming
