LG VX3300 Verizon's last trimode phone?22 May 2006 14:05 GMT11
There are still places in the wilds of Minnesota (and some not so wild
places) where I fall into analog mode with my Kyocera 2235.
I ->really hate the phone and have finally decided to replace it, and it
looks like the VX3300 is the only trimode phone left.
Available PDA/Phones on Verizon22 May 2006 13:20 GMT8
My Palm just died and I am in the market for a PDA/Phone combo using
Verizon. I know Verizon is suppose to be the first out with the Motorola Q
phone. Is there any chance that the Nokia 9300 will be offered in the near
future on Verizon? Any others coming soon?

E815 MP3 playing via Bluetooth phones21 May 2006 21:58 GMT1
I tried Motorola Bluetooth stereo phones at a local store and talking
works fine, but MP3 audio doesn't work. The sales guy told me that some
sort of streaming was disabled on my E815. is this somehow "hackable"?
I see no point of stereo wireless phones and no ability to play MP3

New FW release for V3C21 May 2006 19:03 GMT2
Just got a IMS from Verizon telling me to stop by at one of their store

speed".
Did anyone got it done? Is that going to be yet another functionality
LG VX3300 - "Location On", good for what?21 May 2006 02:14 GMT5
Going through the menus of my VX3300, I come across Settings->Location->
Location On/E911 Only.
I find no mention of this in the manual; what's "Location On" do?

Verizon stops "New Every Two" at Costco19 May 2006 16:22 GMT6
Verizon has stopped allowing the kiosks at Costco, and presumably other
authorized dealers, from doing "New Every Two" upgrades. This happened
sometime within the past few weeks.
Costco is still promoting their very strange phone warranty, simply
John Navas19 May 2006 15:27 GMT17
I recently moved from Cingular to Verizon and have been reading in this
group for about a month. It seems that a poster named John Navas always
chimes in about how Cingular is better etc etc. Who the heck is he?
Thanks

RAZR 3VC Icon19 May 2006 02:46 GMT5
I have searched the manual and online.  For the life of me I can not
figure out what an icon on the display means.
It is a picture of a cell phone with an arrow at a right angle on the
left of the icon pointing to the picture of the cell phone.
antenna boosters - do they work?18 May 2006 22:55 GMT12
I live in a fringe area in terms of cell reception -- that is, a weak signal
and occasional dropped calls. I have a Motorola V325 with an antenna that
can be extended. It helps some, but I could use just a little more signal.
I've seen these antenna boosters for sale that go in ...
