Blackberry: charged for attachments not opened?14 May 2006 08:34 GMT2
I am considering getting a blackberry 7250 through Verizon Wireless,
but my concern is that if I get the 10 MB monthly plan, what if I
receive a huge attachment to my BB but do NOT open the attachment, will
Verizon still charge me for that attachment even though I don't open

Or, do you have to subscribe to another fee based Verizon service for ?
New Motorola RAZR V3c & bitpim?13 May 2006 20:24 GMT2
I had been using my daughter's Dell computer and a USB cable to manage
my LG VX4500 cellular phone. I was able to transfers audio files as for
use as ring tones and such. The program I was using was bitpim 0.8.06.
Now I've just traded my LG cell for a new Motorola RAZR V3c.
Motorola Razr13 May 2006 19:26 GMT10
Just got my Razr phone and so far I like it. Is there a way of force it to
extended network like my LG? On my LG you just hit menu 000000 and you can
force it to analog, pcs only, cell only, automatic etc.
Haven't seen that so far anywhere.
Treo 700w w/ VCAST13 May 2006 15:14 GMT2
I am shopping for a cell phone and service and am considering the Treo 700w.
I like the idea of having wireless, PDA-like funtionality but it's not worth
more than 15 dollars a month to me.  If I get a vanilla 40 dollar voice plan
plus the 15 bux VCAST, can I avail all its ...
V-710 settlement12 May 2006 22:34 GMT3
On my new VZW bill I received the $25 credit I requested in the V-710
settlement which I mailed in October last year. I really didn't expect to
ever see it, the way legal stuff seems to take forever to get resolved.
Surprise!

p2kman problems with v3c11 May 2006 17:20 GMT1
Wondering if anyone on here knows anything about the program p2kman. Used
for getting into a Motorola V3C and changing around the things that Verizon
blocks.
Any help would be nice.
Detecting refurbished phones11 May 2006 12:41 GMT9
With so many sources for phones, how can you tell if a discounted phone
you purchased [ebay, other online sources] has been refurbished instead
of being [really] new?
Specifically, does anyone know how to determine if an LG VX8100 and/or
Text Messaging11 May 2006 07:55 GMT8
I have 2 phones from 2 different wireless companies (1 LG 8100 from Verizon
Wireless, 1 Motorola V555 from Cincinnati Bell, Cincinnati Ohio) I know that
you can send text messages from one carrier to another carrier by entering
the area code and phone number of the person you can ...
How trustworthy are 3rd party cellphone dealers?10 May 2006 19:39 GMT3
I see Cellular Choices in Largo, Md as a 3rd party dealer for phones.
In the post I have always bought from Sprint or Verizon directly, but I see
I could save money by 3rd party.
Who has experiences in this area?
LG520010 May 2006 18:42 GMT1

Verizon Data service--SMTP?10 May 2006 17:25 GMT21
I have just purchased the PC 5740 Data card for my laptop.
Now I am wondering what the setting for the
SMTP should be in order to send e-mail.  (I will be using Eudora, but I
know that it doesn't matter there which I use)
