always on datacard and VOIP (like vonage)10 May 2006 16:40 GMT1
Just out of curiosity, I was looking at an always on data card for my
laptop, rather than tethering a cell phone... Has anyone tried a VOIP phone
thing (like vonage) with an always on data card?
I already have vonage at home, but when traveling use my laptop, and for
Cell phone in Italy?10 May 2006 04:20 GMT4
I guess I'm kind of "sneaking in an off-topic" because I'm familiar with a
number of you here.
Two family members will be traveling to Italy later this year, and they'd
like to have TWO cell phones that will work there, mainly for them to call

Moto E815 key backlight09 May 2006 22:37 GMT3
I just purchased the Motorola E815 and am enjoying its
features.  However, I had it all packed up and ready to
return to the store as defective.  Why?  Because the blue
backlight to the keyboard was not working consistently.
Photomax now for use with your cell phone09 May 2006 15:23 GMT1
I have been using Photomax to develop all of my digital prints for over
a year now. They just updated their site with a thing called MobileMax.
When you set up your profile you go to the MobileMax screen and you add
you cell number in.

Which Phone?08 May 2006 23:51 GMT22
Well ... I have a New Every 2 that expires in June so I need to make a
decision on a phone. I need to make a basic decision between a
Handheld/Blackberry and a regular phone ... I'll ask about Handheld
options in another post. On the assumption that I'm down to choosing a
Treo 650 and EVDO08 May 2006 17:13 GMT3
I'm getting conflicting information on the Treo 650 capabilities for
EVDO.
I'd like to use the phone to connect as a "modem" to Verizon EVDO, and
access the internet from my laptop thru the phone.  Can this be done
should I keep SRN or switch to AC2?08 May 2006 03:49 GMT5
My wife has SRN 400 but lately has been exceeding her plan minutes.
Should I go to SRN 600 or switch to one of the AC2 plans?
What kind of  loss of coverage will I notice?

How Do I? -Verizon LG VX465008 May 2006 03:21 GMT1
How do you HEAR the ring tone you select from the menu on the LG VX4650?
The manual shows you how to select a tone, but I need to hear it before
using it for an older couple who just want a regular style ring.  Thanks
Want fix or alternate Canendar/Appointment program for XV670007 May 2006 17:31 GMT2
The Notification/Reminder function on my WM5 XV6700 has stopped working with
the Calendar. I have tried everything short of a hard reset. (I refuse to do
a hard reset, I have tons of contacts and documents. And with WM5 there's no
way to back them up!) Anyone know of a ...
Rant: verizon07 May 2006 13:56 GMT5
Dear verizion customers,
There isn't enough choice in the wireless industry - for reliable
service, there is no alternative to verizon. The nearest choice is
sprint since both use CDMA but the gap is clear. Meanwhile, verizon is

Confused about long distance06 May 2006 08:25 GMT5
If your cell phone number is a local exchange with your home land line
