I'm coming up on my NE2 (November) and recently acquired a Startac 7868
for emergency needs only, so I am no longer looking for a dual-mode phone :-)
I have the AC1 plan of 450 family share minutes.   What are people's
experiences with using the 650 with a 450 minutes voice-only ...
Verizon Banner06 Jun 2006 23:22 GMT1
I am on the 1900 band of Verizon in Wisconsin with a new V3C. I really like
the phone so far with only a couple of draw backs, with the biggest one
being battery life. When I am in my home area my Verizon banner only shows
once in awhile even though I pretty much stay in town. ...

Possible to Have 2 Different Accounts on One Phone?06 Jun 2006 05:23 GMT16
I want to have to separate Verizon accounts on one phone (meaning 2
separate phone numbers). Is it possible? That way I wouldn't have to
carry 2 phones all the time. I called their CS and was told it might
be possible, but they won't support it. I asked about NAM1 and NAM2
memorial day: peak/off-peak06 Jun 2006 04:08 GMT3
I read in this newsgroup that VZW stopped treating holidays as off-peak
since last year. Unfortunately, I forgot this was the case and made
several long calls on Memorial Day during peak hours. I called up CSR
today and they confirmed that the calls on holidays count against the
Motorola Q vs Treo 700w?06 Jun 2006 03:20 GMT6
Any opinions on how these two phones compare yet? Battery life, call
quality, ease of use, wi-fi usefull? I'm with Cingular now with an
Audiovox 5600 and am thinking of jumping ship. I like the idea of a
QUERTY keypad and wi-fi. I talk (mostly), surf the web and email a lot

treo 700 - speaker died again05 Jun 2006 01:55 GMT5
Is this a common problem - I have had 2 treo 700 phones where the speaker
has died.  The speaker phone works, but the regular speaker and mic do not.
I can hear with an ear piece though.  Now I seek my 3rd treo 700.

New Dual Band Phone05 Jun 2006 01:04 GMT6
My two year agreement expires in November and I'll go month to month.  I
would like to get a basic dual band flip phone with these features, in order
of importance: 1) sensitivity, 2) battery life, 3) speakerphone.  If I could
avoid a camera, and the other bells and whistles, I ...
