Work with a gal that needs a good coverage phone and works in the lower level of a buidling. My 710 works fine there even though sometimes I need to pop up the antenna. I see Ver has discontinued the 710. What is comparable to it that is now offered, with particular interest in a ...

| LG VX8000 no sound | 27 Nov 2006 17:05 GMT | 25 |
My son-in-law's VX8000 all of a sudden has no sound. Not from the earpiece nor any keytones. It receives calls and will place calls, but that's of little use without sound. He claims the phone suffered no trauma and the only thing that looks different is the words "CAR KIT" now ...

Question related to an earlier one about wireless speeds. I intend to use this at home (only other option is satellite or current 26kbit dialup) & don't do much downloading/file sharing, so the 5G limit shouldn't hurt me. Cost is about the same as satellite, with none of the

Responding to a previous post made me wonder about something.. What are the conditions VZW puts on the "Buy one, get one (or three) free? Obviously, you have to have an active line to put the free phone on----but does THAT line have to be eligible for an upgrade, or can you ...
