I want to get my mother on a Plan (and a phone) but I'm wondering what the
cheapest way might be?
I could get her an individual plan or I could switch to a family plan and

Replacement Motorola 710?28 Nov 2006 22:33 GMT3
Work with a gal that needs a good coverage phone and works in the lower

to pop up the antenna. I see Ver has discontinued the 710. What is
comparable to it that is now offered, with particular interest in a ...

"often because of too many failed logon attempts", and that I need to choose
a new password to unlock my account. I did. And ...

LG VX8000 no sound27 Nov 2006 17:05 GMT25
My son-in-law's VX8000 all of a sudden has no sound. Not from the earpiece
nor any keytones. It receives calls and will place calls, but that's of
little use without sound. He claims the phone suffered no trauma and the
only thing that looks different is the words "CAR KIT" now ...
wireless data speeds?27 Nov 2006 03:31 GMT37
Question related to an earlier one about wireless speeds.
I intend to use this at home (only other option is satellite or current
26kbit dialup) & don't do much downloading/file sharing, so the 5G limit
shouldn't hurt me. Cost is about the same as satellite, with none of the
Updrade VX8000 to VX8300?27 Nov 2006 01:42 GMT14
I have a VX8000 that I have been happy with except for the reception. I
think it could be better. I am considering upgrading to a VX8300. It seems
that I remember reading that the 8300 is better in reception. Can anyone
confirm that? Anyone want to provide their view on the 8300?

Buy one, get one???26 Nov 2006 04:37 GMT2
Responding to a previous post made me wonder about something..
What are the conditions VZW puts on the "Buy one, get one (or three) free?
Obviously, you have to have an active line to put the free phone on----but
does THAT line have to be eligible for an upgrade, or can you ...
