Class Action Suit07 Nov 2006 01:58 GMT21
Got in the mail a paper called the Campbell Class Action Settlement against
Verizon.
Anybody know what this is all about?  Papers really don't spell out what is
going on, but if you accept a $15.00 voucher, it says you also agree to
negotiating more minutes06 Nov 2006 18:44 GMT11
I have the family plan paying $59 for two numbers and 400 minutes.  My
three year old phone just broke, so now I am shopping not only for a
new phone but maybe a new provider also.  For the same price we can get
550 minutes with rollover with Cingular.  Can you negotiate with
No software for CDM 990006 Nov 2006 16:53 GMT2
My Audiovox CDM 9900 was replaced last December when it was stolen.
Lately the phone is having problems with reverting to analogue mode as well
as disconnecting occasionally when I hit a button to answer a call.
Rebooting the phone fixes the analogue/digital problem for awhile.
job traveling and cell phone caller id issue06 Nov 2006 13:56 GMT11
I do service for a living and in that I need to use the cell phone a
lot to help in finding places/customers.
I usual just call the customer to go the final mile, if you will.
However, I value my cell phone privacy, and with the increasing number
700W SD Card06 Nov 2006 07:22 GMT2
I have a Treo 700w.  The Palm website says 2 gig SD card is the max size
test by Palm.
Has anyone tried a 4 gig SD?  Did it work?
Thanks,
Squeezing VZN for cheaper rates for < 450 minutes?06 Nov 2006 07:13 GMT15
I've been with VZN for about a year and half, and have had no major problems with them as yet. I originally had 400 minutes/mth on my plan
and recently upgraded to 450 with no price increase.
However, as I've recently looked over my minutes used, even I've used 700 minutes in some ...
text mess. from PC06 Nov 2006 06:31 GMT5
Can someone tell me the address format used to send a text message from my
PC to a Verizon subscriber? I know how to do it to Sprint and T-Mobile
phones.
Thank you much,
Verizon/LG selling phones with missing screws?06 Nov 2006 01:51 GMT3
Is my family the only one in the world who got sold LG (vx3300 ) phones
from Verizon that are missing all the screws, as a result of which they
claim phones are damaged after a few months of use, requiring us to buy
new phones?? I can't find anybody complaining about it on the net.
Sometimes customer service isn't06 Nov 2006 01:51 GMT14
I just got my second telemarketing call from Verizon Wireless on my
landline phone. I called them to complain about it and give them a chance
to put me on their own do-not-call list. I'm on the national DNC list,
but VZW is using the gaping loophole in the law that allows them to ...
True Brew06 Nov 2006 01:28 GMT2
Google has released a version of its Gmail service for mobile phones. The
application -- did I mention it was written in Java? -- will not work on VZW
phones.

I'm looking for a device to receive email with for work.  I'm not familiar

for me! Anyway, could someone explain what the real differences are between
the Blackberry's and the PDA type phones?  Again, my ...

Disregard VX8300 MP3 Upgrade post04 Nov 2006 02:30 GMT2
Sorry, I was a little hasty.  Looks like the music setting just isn't needed
anymore.  I put  mp3s in the My_Music folder and they play.  I did get a
message pop up a few times that it couldn't play the selection, but I hit OK
and it plays fine.  Is that normal?
VX8300 Upgrade defeats MP304 Nov 2006 01:21 GMT2
I just got the VX8300 and before loading it up I took it in for the software
upgrade.  After the upgrade the service menu no longer has the MP3 option.
It was there before because I set it.  I stopped and bought a memory card
and when I got home I found the Music Settings menu ...
