Just bought a new Verizon Treo 700p without the install CD, or anyother CD
that may come with the retail box. What am I missing if I just download the
install what I find over at palm.com? That is essentially just the Desktop
software.

If you had VZW coverage from Feb 2003 through July 2006, you are
entitled to collect a refund on your 2006 taxes the 3% the company
included on these bills for the Federal Excise Tax.  In my case, this
3% ends up being much more than the standard $30-$60 credit the IRS

Just purchased a Treo 700p from a private party, to be shipped to me soon.
