Messages from myself on Verizon?28 Feb 2007 16:59 GMT5
For the past three days, I keep getting text messages at anytime day
and night "From:[my number]" just saying "hello". There is no reply
number in the heading and they're all marked Urgent.
These are annoying. Any clue of what causes that.

I spent days troubleshooting this issue... It seems that if I install

HF850... activate the device so thats active.. leave the car.. switch
the phone to the "off" position while not attached to the hf850.. (i
Questions From A Cingular Customer26 Feb 2007 19:18 GMT34
I've been with Cingular since way before it was Cingular. No major
complaints. I do like the rollover minutes that build up and being able to
switch the SIM card between their GSM phones . The thing is, my girlfriend
and just about everybody else I know uses Verizon here in ...
Can't hear or talk25 Feb 2007 23:58 GMT5
I have a Motorola V276. We went skiing yesterday and my jacket got wet
but not waterlogged. I now notice that I can't hear when someone calls
me, and the other person says I sound muffled. I've tried resetting
the phone, but no joy.

Can anyone comment on Verizon cellphone coverage on St. John in the US
Virgin Islands?
Two Week Delay Delivering Voice Mail24 Feb 2007 13:57 GMT3
I turned off my cell phone today while visiting a museum.  We're not big
cell phone users, about 100 minutes a month on average.  When I turned
it back on a "voice mail ring" occurred.  When I retrieved the message I
found 3 other messages that were dated from February 6 and 7.  ...

voicemail: jump to next or last message?23 Feb 2007 13:40 GMT2
Is there a quick way to jump to the last saved voice message?  Right
now, I have to hear them all from the beginning, and keep pressing 9
to
save them again, until I reach the last one.  Is there a fast skip or
a little OT: Payphones22 Feb 2007 08:12 GMT1
Is there a way I can find the locations of payphones in my area? I was
thinking maybe there was a website where I could put in my zip code
and it could give the addresses of the payphones in my area. I think
most of the ones in my area are Verizon, if that helps.
Get a txt alert before you go over your minutes...21 Feb 2007 23:59 GMT3
I am a employee at Verizon Wireless at one of the call center and just
came across a site created by a few Cornell University students. It
allows customers to download a program that resides in your system
tray and alerts you via txt or email that you are at a set amount of
@vtext.com questions21 Feb 2007 02:40 GMT1
I would like to promote an email address which people can text message
via their cellphone. I would then process these emails and send a
reply. The reply address would be the person's email equivalent of
their cellphone number (such as joe@vext.com). Then, the person would

LG Chocolate Sucks20 Feb 2007 15:07 GMT6
How the LG Chocolate phone made it to the market is beyond me.  This
phone should never have passed the most basic customer test.
Problem: The phone touch activation buttons instead of push buttons
which means...
V3m Razor & Motorola Phone Tools20 Feb 2007 07:44 GMT1
I have Motorola Phone Tools v4.04. I just set it up with my Razor v3m.
During the setup process it was not able to determine my phone type.  (it
did, however, install a working modem driver). So I had to setup the phone
manually. I had to tell it a CDMA type of phone and then it ...
