I am 6 months into a 2 year Verizon plan. If I add the unlimited texting
plan option to my phone would this extend the contract date?
What does the unlimited texting cost? Does it cover messages to a non
Verizon phone? If I add the plan before the end of my billing cycle,

On my VX4650 I can address a message by referring to a contact name.
According to the LG VX300 Verizon manual I must enter the phone number
of email address.  This kind of defeats the purpose of a contact list.
Also, what happended to the memo field in the contact list?

Can anyone recommend a good Motorola phone - basic functions, no frills.

It seems that the key sequence used to turn off the EVDO functions on
the original Chocolate (VX8500) are not the same on the newest
version, the VX8550. Pressing '0' at the menu does nothing at all.
