I bought my phone (Motorolla V325) in a hurry, without proper
research, after moving from abroad almost a year ago.
The main issue with it is that the battery dies after about 5 minutes
of conversation. If I turn it off for half an hour, it's good to go

Does anyone know what phones Verizon are currently offering for free with
the signing of a two year contract?

I recently got my VZW bill and found I have been charged for 21 calls
to directory assistance. I know for a fact I did not get 21 listings
from them and I doubt I dialed 411 that many times. Verizon has been
very rude about this and referred me to 411 for an answer.

I have the unlock codes for mine but I don't know how to use them to
unlock the phone. I highly appreciate if anyone kindly tell me what is
the procedure to Unlock the phone when you have the codes.

I just got a new EVDO Rev A cabable USB720 adapter to replace my V640
ExpressCard.  On the box it says "Daily session pricing available - no
long-term contract required"   Never heard of this - anyone know the pricing
on that?

How long do you think this phone will be available from VZW. My guess is
gone by The Holidays. Anyone have the true skinny?

If you check voicemail from your own phone during peak time, you're
charged peak minutes.
Any time you cross-check voicemail from another Verizon phone, you're
charged IN-calling rates.

I am trying to help a friend out with something I believe is possible but
am not 100% sure how to do.

I was fooled by Verizon, too, into buying the 9900. It does not work in
the 2megapixel mode over the Verizon network and Verizon has no plan to
fix that problem.

I just ordered up a new phone with my new every 2 year discount.  They
said it would be mailed, and I need to call some number when I get it
and agree to the 2 year contract.  That's fine... Also they said all
the instructions would be there.

Apple refused to cripple it to verizon specs.

Please lets stop putting iphone junk on this newsgroup. I subscribe to
this group for Verizon info, not iphone. It is getting old now guys.
