Please help if you know the answer!! When texting with my friends or
family, often times, it takes forever for me to receive the
texts...sometimes up to a day after they have sent them. Usually when
I take out my battery and replace it, they all come pouring in. But
Phone recommendations, upgrade???18 Oct 2007 15:53 GMT11
Upgrade time....and I just don't have time to do my usual agonizing trek
through phone specs etc.
Would really appreciate a couple of opinions on a couple of the current crop
of Verizon phones.
Rate plan change and billing question17 Oct 2007 19:31 GMT7
I recently changed my plan to get additional minutes.  I was happy that this
didn't require a contract extension, but my bill for the first month is
higher then expected.  I spoke with a customer service rep who tried to
explain something about phone companies billing a month in ...
International Service Overseas17 Oct 2007 18:22 GMT1
Has anyone here used Verizon's international plan while traveling outside of
the U.S.?  I'm talking about the rent/buy option of a GSM phone that can be
used in another country.
I took a look at the rates for calls within other countries and I thought

After 13 yrs with Verizon, paying $200-$300 per month for the largest
airtime package available, data plan, text messaging, etc. I am fed
up! I am tired of the pathetic phone offerings and how far behind
Verizon always finds themselves in comparison to what else is
Is LG VX6100 Chaperone child trackable?15 Oct 2007 13:58 GMT2
I can't find any information, especially on the VZW website, as to
whether the VX6100 can be used as the child phone.  I'm pretty sure it
can be used as a parent phone though.
Anyone know for sure?
Canadian Traveller seeking advice on national cellular plan(s)15 Oct 2007 04:09 GMT6
We will be travelling by car through Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Nevada on our
way for a 4 week stay in Phonix in the winter. Don't know much about the US
cellular system. We want to avoid expensive roaming charges so we won't be
using our Canadian cell phone. [Telus]
Verizon Overseas15 Oct 2007 04:05 GMT2
I am a new Verizon user, having migrated from AT&T (cingular), operating on
the GSM network. I have heard most, if not all cell phones overseas, operate
on GSM. If that is true, it looks like my Verizon phone (operating on CDMA)
will never work out of the country. Is this ...

Has anyone succeeded in squeezing a sub $40 plan out of Verizon?  I'm on
an old digital choice local plan.  $30/month for 300 minutes + 1000
and weekends.   I rarely use more than 100 minutes.  I would like to go
to a national plan but Verizon no longer offers anything smaller than
