We are going on a cruise around New Zealand. The cruise ship brochure
says the boat has cell service. While I don't plan on making or
receiving any calls, DH wants to have the phone with us in case of an
emergency.

I wanted to access the internal memory of my MotoKrazr Maxx Ve from my
computer and was surprised to be told by Motorola that I'd have to buy a
media package from Verizon wireless in order to get the USB drivers. I did
but still don't seem to be able to copy MP3 files into the ...

Verizon reps warn against overnight charging....why?
Lithium ion batteries like to be topped-off and kept charged, and I've
charged mine overnight for years.

Just got the W385. Need tips on how to transfer ringtones and whatever from
PC.  I've already got a USB cord and a CD with stuff, I guess I'm at a loss
trying to get anywhere.
So, this NooB is asking for help.

... or is it FAUX Roaming like Sprint. In other words, if I decide to
vacation in an area of the USA where Verizon does not provide service and I
am roaming for three months, will Verizon cancel my service like Sprint
would do?

Are there any other phones out there that have a full web browser like
the iPhone does - NOT a WAP browser?
That's the thing I like best about the iPhone - it makes it possible
to view complete websites, not just the abbreviated WAP version. But

I figured it would happen eventually.  Within 24 hrs I received two
stock investment spams.  Anyone else get such sms spams?  Anything I can

a) whether the Moto Q is a good PDA/phone  choice -- if not, what better

Thinking about getting an Air Card and dropping the old landline connection
because of the amount of traveling we do.  Know I'll have to keep some kind
of service for the email addresses etc.  How do you access these newsgroups
when using an Air Card and direct connecting??  ...
