XV-6800 WiFi. Is it usable without a Verizon Data Plan, or do they somehow prevent its use.30 Nov 2007 13:53 GMT5
I'd be interested in getting the XV-6800, but using it on my current
plan with no data service. I only really care about WiFi usage. There's
enough free WiFi in the places I frequent that I can get by with no EV-DO.
Is there a way to ensure that it never connects via Verizon EV-DO ...
Verizon Worsens "New Every Two"29 Nov 2007 17:59 GMT8
It used to be $100 off an new phone, every two years.
Now, if your plan is $34.99-79.99 you will get only $50 off (you get one
more $100 off if your plan started before 2006, it goes to $50).
Presumably these amounts are before any corporate discounts, since I

dependents to incl the Coast Guard and National Guard also and
retirees of the 1st month free and 15% off on monthly bills plus a
good discount of $150 plus a $40 mail in rebate on three of their
Bluetooth and the Lexus RX33027 Nov 2007 22:38 GMT2
I know that Verizon has really crippled the Bluetooth in their phones, but
what features will work with a Bluetooth phone (I guess the V710?) and my
Lexus RX 330? I don't know a lot about Bluetooth technology and what it's
capable of, so maybe I won't know what I'm really ...

microSD question - VX835027 Nov 2007 17:56 GMT2
Is there any games I can add via my PC to my micro SD memory to use on the
VX8350?  Also if you have a game on the phone, does airtime apply when using
same.
Can I add a video, or do I need a player for them as well.

Still advertising "Unlimited" at Best Buy....26 Nov 2007 22:53 GMT5
I took a Best Buy manager to the Verizon Wireless agreement webpage with
the Attorney General of NY State, while trying to look for a Voyager to
play with, today.  The signage at the Best Buy counter hadn't been
changed, properly, to reflect the agreement.  It was still telling ...

Switch from AT&T?25 Nov 2007 02:41 GMT22
I am up for renewal with AT&T and have no gripes with them.  Their coverage
in Gainesville, FL is okay but could be better.  As far as I know most fees
are about the same so I guess it comes down to coverage & customer service.
Any suggestions?
Help transferring pictures from computer to phone using verizon's music essentials24 Nov 2007 19:26 GMT4
Hi, I was wondering how to transfer pictures from my computer to my LG
8600 using a micro sd card and the music essentials kit. I don't have
any other adapter or card reader, but I'm pretty sure it's possible to
transfer pictures to the card. The only way that my computer reads the
